Title: Trump goes to Mexico
Post by bogarde73 on Aug 31st, 2016 at 1:56pm
He has accepted an invitation from Mexico's President to visit tomorrow for discussions with leaders. Tickets for fly on the wall on sale at Trump Tower.

Obama will be golfing.

Hillary will be hiding.

This is a can do leader-in-waiting.

The pattern is undeniable.
Floods in Louisiana, Trump visits.
Hillary is AWOL, Obama plays golf .........

Long term ongoing problem with Mexico, Trump visits.
Hillary is AWOL, Obama has never been there.

OK so you don't like Trump. But what's that got to do with banishing yourself from OzPol?

smacking Trump. He's a walking aasbag full of contradictions. Now he wants to do away with the DACA program which is the same program that allowed for all those slave drone Mexicans to work at Trump Towers for peanuts.

Basically, it's the same old Trump bullshit of despotic demagogic appeal to American white male waving their dick in the wind sycophants in a lame ploy to place them against their working class brothers and sisters who have immigrated from whatever bombed or capitalist raped shithole they came from. "Best interests" of America my fat American ass.

So Grumpy Trumpy's "plan" is to gather up a mass mobilization of hundreds of thousands via the new American Gestapo er, police, FBI, and most important, ICE in every major American city; working class neighborhoods would be placed on "lockdown" and military-style detachments would forcibly take immigrants from their homes and places of work. Gee, I wonder where in history this has been done before...

Of course, those who oppose Trump's new American martial law will most likely have their god damn skulls crushed as government thug crackdowns would surely follow.

Only a matter of time.

The interesting question is why Marla has this fixation about Nazi uniforms and the people in them.
Is it lust after a strong male figure? Is it secret admiration for these people? We do know there is nobody in American politics that pleases her now.
Maybe she is looking for a putsch.
This would be a worry even greater than the amount of weed being consumed. Wonder what it costs these days?

The interesting question is why you can't see you're so so wrong on this issue.

Now, here's what Hannity had to say to the NeverTrumpers:

Conservative talk radio host Sean Hannity said Tuesday he is naming names if Hillary Clinton is elected president because other conservatives have criticized him for supporting Donald Trump now that he's the Republican nominee.

In Hannity's monologue, he slammed commentators such as National Review's Jonah Goldberg and radio host Glenn Beck, and said he will hold them accountable if Clinton is elected.

"You own Hillary Clinton's Supreme Court appointments. You own it!" he said in remarks reported by Business Insider. "You are doing everything you can do to cast doubt in people's minds! Trump gave us a list. You own her Supreme Court nominees, you own her un-vetted refugees and the 550% increase she will bring into this country."
Hannity went on to say members of the #NeverTrump movement would own jobs taken by illegal immigrants, Obamacare, joblessness and more.
"Because you're helping elect her," he said. "And I'm also saying that, hey, we have a $4,100 increase in healthcare payments since Obama has been president. It's only going to go higher. You get responsibility for that, too! We have got 12 million more Americans on food stamps. If that increases, I'm going to blame you! We have 46 million total. Eight million more Americans living in poverty. Fifty million Americans in poverty. If that gets worse, I'm blaming you! You know, we have the worst home ownership in 51 years. If that gets worse, guess who I'm blaming? I'm blaming all of you!"
Hannity pushed aside criticism that he has unfairly backed Trump against other Republicans.

While he admitted to giving Trump time on his show, he said he gave time to every other Republican as well.

Trump's agenda is "infinitely better" than Clinton's, he said. "And if you can't see that, then that's your problem. You own it. You own her. You own every dumb thing she's about to do. I blame you. Got it? I am going to name names regularly if she wins."

And he said he'll take the blame and responsibility if Trump wins and does not keep his promises.

"OK? Gladly," he said. "I will proudly pull the lever for Trump."

Of course it is, but I've made myself clear to her that unless it's an All Expences Paid deal - including 1st Class Air Fare - she can whistle Dixie so far as I'm concerned.

But then how about Aquascoot? He knows how to treat a lady ... a little bit of stirrup, a little flick of the rein, a light touch of the crop, and a few whispered words in their shell-like ear ... and that's all before bed-time.

... But then again, her being a Street Feral and all, I'm not too sure how he would treat Marla. He may have to resort to using a cattle-prod to bring out the best in her.

If Trump was such an ogre, our US Correspondent in Denver, Colorado - to wit, Ms Marla Marijuana - would be telling us how she just can't WAIT to vote for Clinton.

Trump is a show-pony more than anything else, and once inside the Oval Office, all his braggadocio will go up in smoke just like one of Marla's tokes.

We can discuss his policies at length (relevant to this thread's topic "Trump goes to Mexico" of course) only after you show some corroboration for your previous position....basis for your personal observation, & I quote  ".... Korrect. Correct.

Between the electioneering bluster and the actual execution of his promises there's a cosmic distance that needs to be traversed - with a thousand backroom bureaucrats militating against anything they think is a little excessive.

The US Presidency is not an autocracy.

Like what?

Have you seen the documentaries on America's jails? Absolutely bulging with criminal gang members from Cuba and South America.

And then for how long should the Americans live in fear of a Muslim bomb or shooter at their local shopping centre? More Muslims means a bigger pool from which these nutters are incubated.

Trump’s Mexican Trade Show:
More Presidential Than Hillary’s Ever Been

Source: The Observer
Quote:
.........At some point in a presidential campaign, Democrats accuse every Republican candidate of racism and consorting with the KKK—to say this smear isn’t a standard Democratic campaign ploy is to wage war on honesty. Hillary once called Democratic Senator and former Ku Klux Klan Grand Dragon Robert Byrd “a friend and mentor,” but that historical irony seems lost on MSNBC commentators. Trump’s tackling of illegal immigration makes him an easy target. His Mexico City trade show blunts the smears. He gets a win in the trade deal.

In retrospect, the key phrase is this: “rabbit-out-of-the-hat electioneering magic Democrats fear Donald Trump can pull.”

That’s the fear. Trump’s unfettered mouth is his worst political enemy. His showmanship is his political genius. At The Mexican Trade Show Trump looked presidential, and far more so than Hillary ever has.    Note that President Pena also invited Clinton, but she didn’t show.   If she’d come she’d have had to face the media and someone just might have asked her about The Clinton Foundation or Benghazi…Which segues into “up her Benghazi,” a fill-in-the-blank expletive. Feel free to use it.

*  *  *

In the third week of August, Hillary’s campaign hit Trump with a barrage of racism charges. Media were wrestling with new revelations of her State Department’s hand in glove connivance with The Clinton Foundation—The State-Foundation, I named it.

Hillary’s outrageous accusations erased headline discussions of Clinton Foundation corruption, and that was her tactical goal. The liberal mainstream media followed her lead. It’s the Media Privilege Democrats enjoy.

Donald Trump, however, is the rare Republican nominee who possesses media judo. With one move he can shift campaign momentum and in the process shatter a mainstream media narrative. His Mexican Trade Show is just the latest example........

It was international free trade—the free and open trade of political favors. I’m referring to the live from Mexico City two-man television talk show and press conference co-hosted by U.S. presidential candidate Donald Trump and Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto.

The Trump-Pena trade show coincided with the 271st day of an American domestic no-show. 271 is (by one count) the number of days that had passed since Hillary Clinton’s last stand up, unscripted press conference.

As I write this column, the usual menagerie of mainstream media are struggling to interpret the verbally unscripted Trump-Pena trade show. Get a clue: the trade show’s thoroughly scripted video imagery dominates the words. Mainstream media in their respective countries portrayed Trump and Pena as inevitable antagonists. Think of that as a Campaign 2016 mainstream media narrative truth.

To the deep dismay of mainstream spinsters on both sides of the Rio Grande, the nattily-dressed Pena and sartorially-appropriate Trump smiled, remained calm, and treated each other with respectful dignity. In fact, they were rather darn friendly—tough guy friendly. Though they held the show on Enrique’s home turf, Donald more or less emceed (with interpreters), which seemed to work for both men. Did we witness open diplomacy? I think so—a rare example of authentic open diplomacy, where both men win. Dare we call it Art Of The Deal?........

That's a subjective opinion.

Do you have any valid corroboration that supports or lends credence to your personal theory, outside of your own fertile imagination?  ::)

Have you read any of his policies?

We can discuss his policies (relevant to this thread's topic "Trump goes to Mexico") only after you show some corroboration for your previous position....basis for your personal observation, & I quote  ".... If Trump makes the White House nothing he's promising will come to fruition. ......   ;)

No worries. Let's discuss my observations as they relate to Trump's policy on Mexico. Trump met with the Mexican president last week. The prez told him that Mexico would not be paying for Trump's whacky wall idea. Sorry, Mr Trump, it's not happening.

A few hours later, Trump gave his big immigration speech, where he emphasized the words, to great applause, AND I WILL GET MEXICO TO PAY FOR THE WALL.

Now Trump, remember, is the great negotiator. He's campaigning on his skills in the art of the deal. He told everyone he hadn't yet discussed the wall with Mexico, and there it was from the words of the Mexican president: the first thing he told Trump when he met him is Mexico wouldn't be paying for anything.

Now, presumably Trump had a bit of a giggle and told the Mexican president not to worry, They'd work it out. Let's see what happens after the US election.

But when he fronted the American people with his big campaign speech on one of the few policies he has: the wall with Mexico, he told a big white lie. Mexico would be paying for his wall.

Now Trump's not doing a property deal over a golf course or a casino, he's announcing his campaign policies to become the president of the US of A. The big question is how Trump's going to get Mexico to foot the bill for the wall, or get China to float the Yuan, or make Japan and South Korea spend more on arms, or the myriad of foreign policies Trump promises without a single explanation of how.

Trump is playing this by ear. He's flying by the seat of his pants. He says these things not because they make sound policy, but because he gets a few cheers. The shock jocks love him, Fox News presenters gush, and his comments go viral on Facebook and Twitter.

Trump isn't saying these things because he intends to make them happen, he's saying them because he loves the applause. This is not about creating rational, or even doable, policy, it's about ratings.

Trump isn't telling you how or why because he doesn't know himself, as if any of this matters. He's a huckster, a sideshow carny. He'll talk up the real, live mermaid behind the screen, and when you get inside to check her out, you can see her legs under her fake rubber tail. You know you've been conned, but what can you do? You walked straight into that one. You can only blame yourself.

We all know Trump's not a politician, but a salesman. What I suspect, however, is that he doesn't want to be president at all. All this - the deportations, the Muslim bannings, the wall, he doesn't plan to do any of it because he doesn't really want to get in. All Trump wants is a bigger slice of the audience share.

After this election, the American people will have a lot to think about, but those with the most to ponder are Republicans themselves. How could they have been so cheated?

Korrect. Correct.

Between the electioneering bluster and the actual execution of his promises there's a cosmic distance that needs to be traversed - with a thousand backroom bureaucrats militating against anything they think is a little excessive.

The US Presidency is not an autocracy.

This makes me curious. Why would people support a politician like that?

The Amerikan jails are full - period. The US has the highest incarceration rate in the world - higher than any empire at any time in history. Its failed war against drugs has incarcerated 1% of the US population - the population of a small country. Prisons alone cost the US hundreds of billions in borrowed money and ultimately solve nothing. We know one thing: they create more crime.

This is another of Trump's failed policy ideas: his promise to get tougher on crime. How? More private prisons? More mandatory sentencing? More borrowed money?

How many more lives and families destroyed?

It's policies like these that have led to America's slow decline, and yet, these are the policies Trump turns to in his pledge to make America great again.

Note, not only is Trump promising massive tax cuts, he's making the biggest spending "committments" of any candidate since WWII. Costing his policy committments is laughable. Who would even know where to start?

Ever get the feeling you've been cheated?

Correction (check out ABC's Report), the Mexican President did not tell Trump he refuses to pay for the wall.....at any time during their meeting.....no, he said this well after Trump's departure, when Trump wasn't present to respond, & in Twitter of all places....just like a true 3rd rate banana republic's presidente he is, what a coward.  ::)

Now, Trump's Policy, as stated for all to see, on his website, completely relevant to THE WALL:

Compelling Mexico to Pay for the Wall

Quote:
Introduction: The provision of the Patriot Act, Section 326 - the "know your customer" provision, compelling financial institutions to demand identity documents before opening accounts or conducting financial transactions is a fundamental element of the outline below. That section authorized the executive branch to issue detailed regulations on the subject, found at 31 CFR 130.120-121. It's an easy decision for Mexico: make a one-time payment of $5-10 billion to ensure that $24 billion continues to flow into their country year after year.

There are several ways to compel Mexico to pay for the wall including the following:

➤   On day 1 promulgate a "proposed rule" (regulation) amending 31 CFR 130.121 to redefine applicable financial institutions to include money transfer companies like Western Union, and redefine "account" to include wire transfers. Also include in the proposed rule a requirement that no alien may wire money outside of the United States unless the alien first provides a document establishing his lawful presence in the United States.

➤    On day 2 Mexico will immediately protest. They receive approximately $24 billion a year in remittances from Mexican nationals working in the United States. The majority of that amount comes from illegal aliens. It serves as de facto welfare for poor families in Mexico. There is no significant social safety net provided by the state in Mexico.

➤   On day 3 tell Mexico that if the Mexican government will contribute the funds needed to the United States to pay for the wall, the Trump Administration will not promulgate the final rule, and the regulation will not go into effect.

Trade tariffs, or enforcement of existing trade rules: There is no doubt that Mexico is engaging in unfair subsidy behavior that has eliminated thousands of U.S. jobs, and which we are obligated to respond to; the impact of any tariffs on the price imports will be more than offset by the economic and income gains of increased production in the United States, in addition to revenue from any tariffs themselves. Mexico needs access to our markets much more than the reverse, so we have all the leverage and will win the negotiation. By definition, if you have a large trade deficit with a nation, it means they are selling far more to you than the reverse - thus they, not you, stand to lose from enforcing trade rules through tariffs (as has been done to save many U.S. industries in the past).

➤  Cancelling visas: Immigration is a privilege, not a right. Mexico is totally dependent on the United States as a release valve for its own poverty - our approvals of hundreds of thousands of visas to their nationals every year is one of our greatest leverage points. We also have leverage through business and tourist visas for important people in the Mexican economy. Keep in mind, the United States has already taken in 4X more migrants than any other country on planet earth, producing lower wages and higher unemployment for our own citizens and recent migrants.

➤  Visa fees: Even a small increase in visa fees would pay for the wall. This includes fees on border crossing cards, of which more than 1 million are issued a year. The border-crossing card is also one of the greatest sources of illegal immigration into the United States, via overstays. Mexico is also the single largest recipient of U.S. green cards, which confer a path to U.S. citizenship. Again, we have the leverage so Mexico will back down.

Will, this brave twitterer, the esteemed el presidente of Mexico, put over $24 Billion a year of his Country's desperately needed income.....vital to his Country's survival........at risk?

Or will he fork over the $10+ billion one time payment for building the wall instead?

The smart money says he'll wiggle & squirm, kick, scream & shout, but in the end....when his tantrum subsides... he will pay the smaller amount because he has no real choice. ;)

The jails are filled with street-level small-fries and people caught with a roach or crack pipe in their car. You've seen Cops, shurely.

In some counties, get caught three times and you cop a mandatory life sentence. The rule of law is meaningless when, in some parts of the US, over 50% of the population is in jail; all rounded up and jailed for minor drug offences.

The burden this places on families, welfare systems, foster carers and entire communities is massive, and utterly pointless. Children grow up without parents and the system repeats itself.

One of the biggest industries in the US now is jails. Once, a county's chamber of commerce would welcome a cannery or soft drink bottler. Today, they welcome prisons. Jails are a major cash cow. The US has a privatized gulag archipeligo - publicly-listed companies paid with taxpayer dollars - some at the top of the US corporate ladder, and all healthy political donors.

Some judges have shares in the companies, and juridictions have a huge interest in finding new prisoners to keep the jobs and the money coming in. In one county, a judge was found to be getting kickbacks from the local juvenile justice facility. He jailed kids for maximum sentences for next to nothing. One 15 year old boy had been caught on the street after dark: 18 months in jail.

Yes, dear boy, this is the rule of law, Amerikan-style. The business of Amerika is business.

That America's jails are warehousing tens of thousands of immigrant ethnic swill from south of the border is not to be so easily dismissed.

Partly as a result of Trump having made mention of this criminal statistic, he was propelled by the American public into pole position.

Any other time in history was quite different to the America of today, and therefore has no statistical relevance whatsoever.

The only modern equivalent is Stalin's Gulags, Hitler's Extermination camps, and Mao's Labour Camp prisons, and these had literally millions more incarcerated than America's paltry few by comparison.

It's so-called 'war on drugs' has always been hobbled and hampered by weak sentencing in which drug offenders are in and out of jails like they have a revolving door.

A genuine, no-nonsense 'war on drugs' is only happening in the Philippines where they are happy to use maximum force to get rid of this plague.

Trump can do exactly what New York mayor Rudy Giuliani did with his 'Broken Windows Zero Tolerance' policy that cleaned up New York's Times Square and the rest of the city.

Oh, I know. I get wet about Amerikan multiculturalism. I have a theory about Amerika - it's driven by two competing drives, both interdependent: multicultural crimos and the WASP establishment - two faces of the same coin that is Amerika.

The establishment has always relied on the Jewish, Italian and Latino crimos, from the Wild West to the bootleggers to the union-busters in the depression to Las Vegas to the Kennedys to the growth of Miami and the influence of cocaine in the 1980s, and on and on and on. Multicultural crime in Amerika has always been institutionalised and used by the country-club establishment. They need each other.

God and the devil, the devil and God, the business of Amerika is business.

Once we're all on the same page, we can discuss how such a policy would be prevented by NAFTA.

1. tag and deport all illegal criminals
2. deport all other illegals
3. allow only legal immigration

Observe the law.  Why is this even controversial??

It's 'controversial' ONLY because the politics of multiculturalism and immigrant ethnicities has been a dominant factor in Western government policy ever since the post-War flood of Third World immigrant ghetto-building in the UK, Australia, Canada, etc.

I prefer the term 'infernal'.

It's not. It's questionable how it will make the Mexican government hand tens of billions to Donald Trump.

It would cost peanuts to erect a Hungary-style razor wire fence across the southern border ... with the addition of a High Voltage charge running through it.

Watch-towers with tripod-mounted machine-guns would be made of wood and modelled on what they had at Auschwitz or Stalin's gulags.

A 'wall' down there has nothing to do with bricks-and-mortar.

Watch-towers .. electrified Cyclone fencing .. razor-wire ... killer attack dogs ... lobotomized brutish security guards ... robot alert systems ... CCTV cameras ...

It would become a tourist destination attraction racking in millions of dollars each year in tourist trade revenue ... enough to pay off the construction within 10 years.

"SEIZE THE DAY! is my message to Trump.

Repatriate American business to the US by denying them tax credits while they are producing in Mexico and selling in the US.

Simple.

that was my thinking as I was reading your post.
Before i got to your words ..

You could rent out 'a night on the wall'.
Real life experience.
'No guarantees of a kill, no guarantees of any personal safety ......'

What would that be worth for a 2 night watch on the wall?

$3000 ?
