Cods and why?

She referred an abusive post directed to her and BAM! Order of the Boot!

Banning rarely has any rhyme or reason; it based on the mod's own bias and personal relationships / political beliefs rather than implementation of the rules.

I can be in a full on dust up with one or more people, but Im the only one banned with the others allowed to continue the abuse without further hindrance.

The extra fun bit, the mod who does the banning rarely identified them-self or provides the explanation of why only one of the participants gets 'special treatment'.

Watch Pecca Big. He told the world on here that he lives in Victoria Park WA and I re-mentioned it and he ran me up to the mods. WTF!!!

I never know who bans me, or why.

I am making a wild guess here, and if I am wrong he can smack me down.  Pounds to peanuts Setanta will give an explanation.  I think Mr Hicks does as well, but he is now AWOL.  The other GMods (other than Big Vic) are permanently (it seems) on some Sabbatical.

So, did anyone find something from cods that looks ban-worthy?

Just logged in and found Cods has been banned.  While I don't know the reasons for this I will say that I've never seen any post of hers that would warrant such action.
On another forum I frequent there is a dedicated thread that lists banned/suspended members and the reasons why. This saves vast amounts of speculation and argument. Perhaps this might work here?

Used to moderate a migration forum.... all bans and reasons for them were public information. You can't expect people to adjust their behaviour if they don't know what behaviour you take exception to.

Christmas is usually a crunt of a day. All the arseholes are out in force on NYE. That 26th to 30th is usually less demanding and smooth going. That makes it the gooch.

no plural for mod please....I am sure I know whom your definition is pointed at supp.. your not very subtle you never have been...I dont have a problem with a mod.... he has one with me....I dont even know him   we fell out to my knowledge only the once....yes he got me banned I think for a week...I apologised for what I said.. but it never was enough for him....

what more he wants from me except for me to be gone I do not know...for a gmod I find the extraordinary and so do a few other members.....
