The next time Charles gets married, someone should warn the Pope.

Besides there is a difference in 1981 and 2005 in terms of the Ashes.

So you have found 4 events that (sort of) repeated out of the countless trillions of events that didn't repeat in those 2 years.

The human brain is hard wired to look for patterns. We often see patterns that aren't there. That's why so many people believe in conspiracy theories,  astrology, karma, religion and other superstitions.

History does repeat to a certain extent. Ethnic conflict occurs as far back as history records, exists now, and will continue to exist. Anywhere where two or more groups have largely different values and morals will bring conflict.

Yeah - but it was just going through the motions.... nobody asked the earth if it was the centre of the universe.... or if it should orbit the sun... just a conscript....
