Trump would have to improve massively to be as good as GWB - who was not very good at all. But if it is any indicator of how bad trump is, it is that GWB looks not only good but very good in comparison. He might have been a policy dud, but at least he knew how to run a government competently. Trump cannot even do that!

Assange is no hero, a useful idiot uncle. He relied on a confused gay soldier to steal all those classified documents - s/he is now in jail, he is in virtual house arrest.

Stealing classified info IS a crime.
