They'd be a terrorists dream!

Agreed.
They are the new future for the handicapped society of 'sit & stare' autistic technologically advanced cultures. Welcome to the new Com-Cities. |

How exactly? Plenty of things are automated and we don't have ISIS hijacking them and killing people on a regular basis |

If was was a terrorist....I'd grab one of those and sat nav it to where I could blow up some 'Infidels' and I walk scot free. Also, dunno why they have not yet cottoned onto those small drone things yet. It's just a matter of time and imagination. |

Why not just take a conventional car, plant explosives in it and park it somewhere? At least there'd be no danger of being identified and tracked, whereas driverless cars are full of cameras and sensors transmitting data constantly. Assuming you could get one to work without you being inside anyway (or calling it to a certain location via an app). Both would be pretty easy to defeat. |

No - just not alarmist. If the world was full of jihadis intent on delivering bombs to crowded areas but not being blown up themselves, why not just call a courier and have them take your big boomy parcel to the destination you want? Or a taxi? Last time I looked, cab drivers weren't carrying x-ray machines or bomb sniffers |

But you don't get the 72 virgins unless you top yourself so I don't think it will be a hit with them ;) |

Exactly! All my drivers gave been instructed by me never to accept delivery of a package other than from known sources like hospitals etc. I have posted exactly that previously. Driverless cars make it so much easier for Achmed. |

They have been using drones to drop grenades I guess taxis drivers don't keep up with what happens in the real world. They also use garage door openers to set bombs off. |

I'm sure they have. Driverless cars is a certainty as a weapon's delivery platform for these arseholes. Let's get them as soon as we can.

I told arsie to sell his taxi plates while they were still worth something when Uber started up. Between Uber and driverless cars taxis drivers will become extinct one day, it will be a good thing think of all the young women who will never know what it's like to be molested by a taxi driver. |

We're not exactly dealing with one of the great minds of our times here. The OP deduced that a photo taken from the side of a steep hill MUST have been taken from a hover car. I reckon before any stinking mohumed can get his hands on a driverless car, layer upon layer of security we can't even imagine now would be in place. Keep up the good work tho OP :D |
