Title: Highlights the bullshit that dumping the monarchy
Post by Lord Herbert on Aug 5th, 2017 at 9:19pm
is.

"We want our own Head of State!" - They bitch and moan.

"Cut the apron-strings!" - They wail.

"Total independence from the UK!" - They whine.

And all the time not a word mentioned about how for decades Australia's politicians have been puppets to the International Socialists who reign supreme at UN headquarters in New York.

The call for a republic is bullshit in light of the fact that Canberra is forever on its knees to their political overlords at UN Headquarters.

Britain had a referendum on reclaiming its sovereignty from the European Parliament, with meanwhile our PM is offering us a say on the sanctity of married buggery.

If you didn't laugh you would cry.

Utterly pathetic.

No referendum to ask us if we want to withdraw from our bondage to the UN.

Gay divorce is an important issue, Herbie, but we all know how close the one world government of the British Commonwealth is to your heart.

Australia, Fiji, Pakistan, Jamaica, Cameroon, and good old Mother. The people united will never be defeated, no?

From my memories Karnal, when we were tied to mothers apron strings, it was a rather nice place, this Australia. I can't say it's been all a good thing since we snipped them, especially the shift to being tied to Father USA's overalls.

People are just worried that if we dump the monarchy we won't be able to compete in the Commonwealth Games.

I think you would be badly mistaken if you thought the easterners could care less as long as we can play some cricket at the WACA.

I don't think it has anything to do with the Monarchy for the majority who want to keep our current system.

Its more about not being stupid and going to a lesser structure at a great cost and risk for no real reason.

Thank you.

Calls by Republicans to also snip the apron-strings that bind us to the many Charters, Agreements, and Protocols signed with our de facto political masters over there at UN Headquarters in New York would help to dispel the idea that it's just Australia's traditional anti-Pommy sentiment that's driving this movement.

Australia's political bondage to policies and international laws decided by a  gathering of International One World Order Socialists at UN Headquarters is infinitely more objectionable to Australia's sovereign independence than any connection we have with a Mother Country whose powers have long since been reduced to nothing more significant than pageantry and Royal Circus.

I somehow doubt it, with that being very much in the speculation stage, but what isn't a matter of conjecture is that Sydney will most definitely be divided up between the progeny of today's South East Asian and Indian immigrants.

No, it will just be the Chinese government
They will be able to just walk in and take over.
probably under the pretext of looking after their investments, which will be about 50% of Australia by then.

And there will be no way of stopping them.

That is a false dichotomy Herp.
In fact there is absolutely no relationship between Australia becoming a republic and the United Nations. Not even sure why you are attempting to link the two, except to find an excuse to promote two of your hobby horses in the same thread. I'm surprised you couldn't find some way to link the death penalty in too.

I'm for gay marriage because of all the legal implications when it comes to Wills and Division of Property upon separation or death.

There was this case of a gay couple in which one partner died after which the relatives of this rich deceased dude petitioned the Probate court for all of the goodies, with the surviving partner receiving nothing.

That simply can't be fair regardless of sexualities.

A referendum on the Death Penalty is denied us because of Agreements signed with the UN.

Ditto euthanasia.

Ditto racial and religious discrimination in our immigration policy.

Ditto corporal punishment in our schools.

Ditto the right to deny employment to people on religious, racial, or cultural grounds.

Ditto to spank our children in the home.

Ditto ... and the rest ... all signed off with the UN as no longer being allowed an option for voting upon in our elections or referendums. It's a case of our democratic freedoms being greatly at the direction of the Socialists at UN headquarters.

The monarchy is imposing no such sanctions upon us in Australia. They couldn't give a rat's arse how we order things in our own country.

The UN has no power to enforce anything. They couldn't stop the US led coalition invasion of Iraq in 2003.

You are dreaming if you believe that your list of issues had anything to do with the UN, it was due to changing public attitudes. For the record, many state governments are looking at making Euthanasia legal and spanking children in the home isn't illegal either.
Yet you have decided to try and link all this up as some UN conspiracy theory. You have no idea Herb.

I've had good gay friends when I was working in an office, and also knew a lovely lady who was a lesbian, and all deserve just the same legal rights as every one else.

But it takes two to Tango ... and our politicians going back decades have loved to dance with the Socialists at the New York Headquarters.

We have had a very weak succession of Prime Ministers for the most part, with none of them having the balls of our Indonesian neighbours who told the UN to go to hell.
