I was moved when I visited Auschwitz, as were many others on that day.

We're detaining a certain group of people in concentration camps, and some are dying.

Sure, it might not be murder, but they're still being treated inhumanely.

We need to learn from our mistakes and bringing up things like Auschwitz, in order to prove a point, is a valid tactic.

If left to their own devices, who knows what our government would be capable of.

That doesn't mean these country shoppers have the right to attempt to force their way into Australia against our government's wishes. If they were genuine refugees, that would be a different story. But they aren't, as you've admitted. They should be sent back as soon as their application is rejected.

A number of reasons - some countries aren't allowing them back. I think Iran or Syria are in that group. But for many of them, they are in limbo due to refugee advocates tying the governments' hands in countless legal battles costing taxpayers millions of dollars.
