I thought is was the insurance companies that benefit in the USA.

Insurance companies don't care about healthcare they are only interested in making a profit.

Yes, insurance companies benefit from America's expensive, inefficient healthcare system. And Big Pharma does as well, and not only America Big Pharma:  foreign pharma makes most of its profits in the US market as well. Americans are the biggest suckers in the world.
