Sen. John McCain returns to the hospital for ongoing
treatments of aggressive Brain Cancer.

Sen. John McCain was hospitalized Wednesday at Walter Reed Medical Center in Maryland, receiving treatment for the “normal side effects of his ongoing cancer therapy,” his office said. The six-term Arizona lawmaker, 81, has missed votes in the Senate this week and did not attend a White House ceremony in which President Trump signed a defense bill into law. The sweeping policy bill has been a major achievement of McCain’s for years — especially now, as he is the chairman of the Armed Services Committee. “These treatments are very tough on people and he’s just dealing with the by-product of the treatment,” former Arizona Attorney General Grant Woods, a longtime McCain friend, said. “Hopefully he's going to get on top of this part of it and get some rest and come back stronger than ever. That’s our hope.” John McCain will focus on Senate while fighting 'vicious' cancer. McCain is receiving treatment at the Walter Reed Medical Center in Bethesda, Md. McCain’s office said he looks forward to returning to work as soon as possible. He was diagnosed with brain cancer last summer.

The word is that the 81 year old Senator appeared quite frail.....the prognosis looks very poor.
