The state government has committed about $100m to manufacturing support in the state. Established in 1972, Bertocchi is Australia’s third largest smallgoods manufacturer, its products are distributed nationally through Coles, Woolworths and IGA stores and other delicatessens, butcher and food shops. The food and fibre export sector adds $11.9 billion to the State’s economy and employs more than 190,000 people.
