This is just yet another example of how the left excuses Islam for all of its faults and wrongdoings, including being the only ones that force women to cover themselves, throws homosexuals off of buildings and being the only religion to go around killing people (and more), yet mocks Christianity when it does none of the above. |

Yet the vile Greenies want XMAS to be banned because it offends the ISLAMICS.
Yet the ISLAMICS behead Greeny GAYS. Talk about confused. Some say it is Global Warming that is sending the Greenies cuckoo. |

Juliar, I think that one has to be cuckoo to vote for the Greens in the first place.

I distrust and criticise all organised religion. Christianity is full of kiddie fiddlers and hypocrisy. Islam is the problem child of world religions. Judaism is too obsessed with money. Most religions proselytise too much and won't respect nonbelievers right to be left alone. |

All religious teachings and instruction should be mocked simply because it promotes unreason as a positive virtue.
Also just like any business, religious institutions should pay tax on their takings. No charitable status should be given to the promotion of any fictional being or god where there is no direct evidence of its existence. |

To me as an atheist all religions are nothing more than a collection of ideas, rules and traditions. There is nothing wrong with stating that not all of these collections are equal in either their content or how literally it's followed. |

ALL religion was created to control and enchain it's just that some are worse than others. Some move forward with the times and others never will.

BO, I also think of great importance is how strictly the religion is followed. Hasidic jews are a worry but their numbers are so few they can be regarded as a curiosity. I read an essay recently where a guy interviewed a few 100 rabbis in California. Off the record, they nearly all said they don't believe in god and religion is a cultural thing. Of all the religions muslims take their religion so bloody seriously, they regularly kill for blasphemy! Also Islam is highly proselytising religion and that alone makes it dangerous. |

I don't believe religion should be outlawed because IMO freedom of religion should be protected. The right to be left alone should also be respected: freedom from religion is just as important as freedom of religion. |

The inference is that politicians are responsible for immigration policy and values - ergo - they suck in the context of this discussion... how will they ever learn unless they are beaten about the head with a metaphorical stick?
A soft word may turn away wrath, but when a crazed perks addict comes at you with a loaded ideology, there is no time for soft words.... Philistine!! ;) |
