I saw a good news story on Africans on the ABC news last night.

A farmer had a bit of land on his property that was too small for his purposes so he allowed African refugees to make a go of it, and they grew some garlic and are doing alright selling it at market.

I can't walk through parts of Rockhampton without worrying about my safety. And 95% of us are white.

Ok. I'm in Melbourne on the 10th.
I'll walk through Collingwood, hang around a bit. Take some photos. Shake some hands with some Sudis (a spear like weapon  ;D) or something.
I've walked through Redfern, having done something similar - wearing an AFL beanie and playing the Melbourne style and they were all 'nice' to me. ;) ;)

It's all about knowing your 'cultures'  ;), beyond just 'races'.

Hi Nail,
those housing commission high rises are ghettos full of losers.
It's not safe to be anywhere near those buildings - yet alone live in them.
They are full of drugs & violence.
We as taxpayers have to pay to house the trash that lives there.

Although -
some people there are just unlucky in life -
there are many men who were in good jobs but got divorced
& their wife & kids got their house.
They then turned into alcoholics as they couldn't cope with their failure.

They are human disaster areas.

Melbourne is a fraud. Projecting itself as the Domestic Capital of Australia (with its club-level AFL), unlike International Sydney (with its International Test level NRL) - also a fraud. But Melbourne is nothing but a Northern Hemisphere cliché from Beijing to New York.

I couldn't get to Collingwood and have photo proofs, etc.
Came close, via North Melbourne and a few other places - but time was against us.
I've basically been driving non-stop (except x1 8hr sleep period Sun night) since 9am Sunday to having just returned at 1am Tues.
