My 18-year-old daughter could give a young Sharon Stone a run for her money on looks. That is despite having half my DNA. I suppose that her mother would provide the decent side of DNA to our daughter. But it mostly comes down to diet and exercise. Both of which are good for our child.

I think it is scapegoating to suggest that fat people are the main cause for rising health care costs. Most likely, it would be due to our ageing population. If we're going to have a public health care system that allows or denies care based on perceived detrimental actions to your lifestyle, why have a public health care system in the first place?
