L love horses a lot but I am a bit intimidated by their size and powerful back legs- they do have a sense of humour

I gotta mow a big paddock that is very over-grown with thick tall grass. In this big paddock is one very big horse. It is the first time I have 'interacted' with a horse on its own turf. thankfully, its a good horse and although comes near at times before bolting away, it isn't aggressive, hostile or too paranoid.

Horses are mean spirited and dangerous, I live on a 13 acre property in west Auckland and the previous owner was kicked in the head by one and lost his eye

you get what you ask for standing behind a horse..

they cannot see you to start with its all the defence they have.....they are a magnificent and intelligent animal....

just thinks they dont abuse each other or anyone else..

its only the human animal that slips to that level...

shame on us.

You obviously dont live rural Cods, I had a pig that made its was into a paddock with a couple of horses in it. And they did their darnedest to kill that pig. The pig showed them no aggression at all. You need to take off those rosy coloured glasses girl lol

I've only tried bareback 3 times Bellamor and each time I was thrown and dumped unceremoniously on my butt- but to my credit I got straight back on gripped the mane and hoped for the best-

Let's talk about pets that are close to your heart, tell us something about your pet. How do you take good care of them, how do you train them? What good memories do you have with your pet?

You're right though Agnes.
I think Horses have a great sense of humor.
I've only just got to know my first horse via a job that I do.
I honestly think they take liberty with us because they laugh at their 'size' compared to us.
Far better humor than Dogs or Cats exhibit.

Dolphins also have a sense of humor but they have a lot of substantial qualities. But how many people get to pat a Dolphin?
