This appears to be a separate issue to the cause of the recent two crashes.
The whole American airline industry has aligned itself with Boeing while many countries have banned the aircraft from their airspace. It is surprising that NASA has involved itself in this issue. Why are the pilots reporting to NASA? https://www.abc.net.au/news/2019-03-13/737-max-pilots-reported-two-control-issues-in-2018-to-nasa/10895542 Quote:

Software and reduced pilot input.... pilots no longer know how to fly the aircraft, and often do not fully understand the systems. Back to the stick and rudder, boys, until you learn how to fly.
In ANY crisis, disconnect the auto pilot and fly the aircraft... if you know how. How many accidents have occurred in recent years from conflicting input from computers and pilots? I even have an issue with my car computer - IT decides when it wants to change gears, even though I command it to for a rapid overtake or a hill to climb.. and stuffs up constantly... rather than change gears on command, it 'thinks' about it - that could get you killed when you want sudden power and absolute control to evade a bad situation. |

[you hope].... now we have holland blinds that work on voice command....lolol....what happens if these computers get hacked?.... its bound to happen.. I think we are sitting ducks..someone finds a way to disable all computers.......and we grind to a halt because we dont know how to function anymore. |
