Pakistan is still suffering from the import of terrorism that the USA supported to fight in Afghanistan.

Saudi Arabia saw the opportunity to spread Wahabism and Sunni influence throughout SE Asia by the establishment of Madrasas (schools) where they could infest and poison young minds.

In the past, the USA did not oppose Saudi Arabia's extremism because it was useful to the USA in the Middle East to spread chaos and disunity in Nations.
