People had been killing each other with or without religion.  Religion is just but many excuses.  At the end of the day, its the humans that pulls the trigger.   Think about it.  A bible, a Koran, a Torah can sit on a table forever, it will never hurt anyone, until another human decided to use it as an excuse.
