Title: It pays to be president
Post by AiA on Oct 18th, 2019 at 3:59am
The question isn’t whether President Trump has violated the emoluments clause—or committed other high crimes. The question is whether Republicans in Congress believe Trump is above the law.

Trump has awarded next year’s G-7 summit of world leaders to his Miami-area resort, the White House said

Nice try Asshole In Atlanta!

Why don't you talk about real issues like the Japan and China trade deals that Trump has just negotiated that will benefit America. That the corrupt MSM is not covering!

Regardless of the link I provided, Trump has broken the Emoluments Clause again with the G-7 coming to his own property.

Noble capitalists, A. They should get it sponsored by Pepsi.

Coke's got the Olympics. Red Bull's got all those car races. Why shouldn't PepsiCo and Lays get the G7?

If it was up to Mr Trump, it'd be the G8, led by Putin.

"Narrow path to success", innit.

You think Trump breaks the emoluments clause by giving his annual $500,000 AUD Presidential salary to charity? His business is run by a trust - hes outside the loop!

This is just desperate media/deep state Presidential harassment.

Was Hillary ever accused of using her job as secretary to personally amass billions? No! No-one ever heard of the emoluments clause then.

Another hoax folks from those complicit criminals protecting the criminal deep state/cartel!

Sure he's a bit of a con man.
So what.
Politics is about the powers of persuasion.

Your average con man might fool a few chodes.
People like Peter Foster.

But to be so dammed awesome at this skill that you end up in the White House

Wow

It's akin to that guy that just ran the sub 2 hour marathon.
It's a level of outstanding achievement that mere mortals can only look on in jaw dropping admiration.

He should be studied for at least 5 years.

Exactly. Mr Trump will get resorts in Japan and China out of this, believe me.

Cheap. They won't overcharge the American government, that wouldn't be right.

That's what I've always said, Aquascoot. He might be a bit of a conman, but he's doing it for America and the world, no?

Joe Lunchbox will see the G7 meeting and say, gee, if I work hard and save, maybe one day, when I retire, I can afford a Coke in the great Doral Resort.

No shorts, singlets or thongs, gents. Superior men only.

He is still bound by the law and is forbidden to abuse his presidential powers to enrich himself, which is what he's doing here.

You know, corruption, that thing that it's ok for Trump to break the law so long as he can claim he's investigating it?

Well now he's caught doing it, again, but you want to make excuses?

Is corruption bad or not!?

Should we forgive the Bidens too like you want to forgive Trump?

Look, you can't make an omelette without breaking a few eggs. I'm sure Julius Caesar broke a few laws by turning the Roman Republic into an imperial dynasty and plunging Europe into the Dark Ages.

Mr Trump has a similar vision for America. Great things can't be achieved by following every little legal detail, you know. The superior man must be allowed to chart his own path, distinguishing himself from the mindless chodes, who live lives of pure garbage. Look at all the great things Mr Trump has achieved. Look at all the corruption he's exposed and the efficiencies he's brought to government. Mr Trump runs as his own cabinet, his own Chief of Staff, his own media director. He's even recruiting volunteers to work for the government, great men like Giuliani. Just imagine what America will look like after another 4 years of awesomeness.

You'll be studying him, Sad - 5 years.
