Conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch requested an ethics investigation in September into whether Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) improperly used campaign funds for her paramour, Tim Mynett.

udicial Watch expanded their request for an ethics investigation into Ilhan Omar after previously demanding a probe into allegations of marriage fraud, immigration fraud, tax fraud and identity fraud.

There is overwhelming evidence that Ilhan Omar married her own brother to defraud US immigration. She also may have perjured herself several times in her divorce statements.

Judicial Watch says there is enough evidence for the Justice Department to launch a criminal investigation into Ilhan Omar.

Judicial Watch announced today that it hand-delivered a letter to the U.S. House of Representatives Office of Congressional Ethics calling for further investigation of Rep. Ilhan Omar over new allegations that her alleged lover, Tim Mynett, received nearly $230,000 from her campaign since July 2018. The latest letter supplements Judicial Watch’s July complaint demanding an investigation of alleged marriage, immigration, tax, and other fraud related to the allegation that Rep. Omar had married her brother.

The new campaign finance allegations arise as a result of divorce filings alleging the affair between Mr. Mynett and Rep. Omar.

But the story does not end there.

The New York Post discovered that Ilhan Omar gave an additional $147,000 to her lover’s firm than was previously known.


The Daily Mail reported:

US Congresswoman Ilhan Omar paid her political consultant and lover almost $147,000 more for services than had previously been known, according to reports.

The payments were in addition to hundreds of thousands of dollars she gave to the company which had already been reported.

Omar’s campaign funneled $146,713 into finance chief Tim Mynett’s consulting firm, ‘The E Street Group’ for digital advertising, fundraising consulting and video production, records show, reports the New York Post.

That’s how much more the 38-year-old Minnesota lawmaker’s campaign pumped into Mynett’s firm since Peter Flaherty, chairman of the conservative National Legal and Policy Center in October filed an an amended complaint into Omar’s campaign spending with the Federal Election Commission.

Dennis tyler, a Democrat serving as the mayor of Muncie, Indiana, was arrested by the FBI in his home on Monday morning as part of a public corruption probe.

“I can confirm an arrest warrant was executed at the home of Mayor Dennis Tyler this morning and he is currently in custody,” FBI Indiana spokeswoman Chris Bavender told Fox News.

Tyler has been accused of accepting a $5,000 bribe to award public contracts to a demolition, excavation and construction company, according to the Muncie Star Press.

On Wednesday, Tyler was indicted for theft of public funds.

He could be facing up to ten years in federal prison and a fine of $250,000.

According to the Star Press, seven people in Tyler’s administration have been charged in the corruption investigation. The paper has been reporting on FBI investigations in Muncie since 2016.

In 2017, the FBI searched city hall offices during an investigation of a former city building commissioner named Craig Nichols.

Nichols was accused of acquiring city contracts for businesses he owned without using a bidding process, according to WXIN.

He was charged with 30 accounts of money laundering and wire fraud, pleaded guilty to the charges and was sentenced to two years in federal prison.

Tyler has been Muncie’s mayor since 2012. According to The Star Press, he did not run for re-election in 2019. Earlier this month, Republican Dan Ridenour was elected to fill the position.

Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar of Minnesota has continued to shovel campaign cash at a man with whom she is alleged to have had an affair, according to a New York Post report citing federal records.

Over the past three months, Omar has paid $146,712.63 to the E Street Group, run by Tim Mynett, to whom she earlier paid $223,000, according to Federal Election Commission data. The latest payments were for digital advertising, fundraising consulting and video production.

In August, Mynett’s wife, Beth, said in a divorce filing that Mynett told her he was having an affair with Omar, according to TwinCities.com.

The filing said she was seeking a divorce because in early April, Mynett told his wife he was “romantically involved with and in love with another woman, Ilhan Omar.”

Mynett and Omar denied the allegations. Omar has divorced her former husband, Ahmed Hirsi.



The FEC, which has already received one complaint about Omar’s past payments, is unable to investigate because its rules require four votes to compel action, and it currently has only three of its six commissioner slots filled, the Post reported.

FEC spokesman Christian Hilland said the Senate needs to confirm the FEC’s fourth member so it can act.

“We are willing to accept reports but we are not able to move forward with any investigatory matters,” he said, according to the Post.

One watchdog said the lack of action is a serious issue.

“This is something every American should be very concerned about,” Craig Holman, a government affairs lobbyist at the watchdog group Public Citizen, told the Post.

“We have no election cop on the beat. The Federal Election Commission essentially closed its doors so everyone knows they can pretty much do whatever they want to do and that’s the status of our political system today,” he said.

Holman said of the payments from Omar to Mynett, “It doesn’t surprise me at all.”

The complaint against Omar already pending at the FEC was filed by the National Legal and Policy Center, a conservative watchdog group.

“This arrangement where Ilhan is paying her lover consulting fees could be illegal if he’s not doing the work,” National Legal and Policy Center Chairman Peter Flaherty said at the time his group filed its complaint, the Post reported.

This is one election analysis Democrats don’t want to hear.

The campaign manager for billionaire and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg, the latest contender to enter the crowded field for the Democratic presidential nomination, told CNN in an interview Monday that coastal liberals might not realize it, but the man in the Oval Office is on a path to winning another term.

Naturally, Bloomberg’s Kevin Sheekey wasn’t complimenting President Donald Trump when he said that, but he stated it as a fact.

Because of the country’s Electoral College system, voters in six swing states are likely to be deciding who is in the White House after 2020.

And since the liberal monoliths aren’t among them, Sheekey said, Trump is winning in all six.

“Mike is getting in this race because he thinks that Donald Trump is an existential crisis and he thinks he’s on a path to victory and he’s getting in to alter that dynamic,” Sheekey told CNN’s Kate Bolduan.

He’s wrong about the “existential crisis” part, but he could well be right about Trump’s path to victory.

The battleground states that are key to the election are not the coastal havens that liberals can rely on, Sheekey said, noting that Arizona, Florida, Michigan, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin are likely to be decisive.

“That’s the whole general election. And right now Donald Trump is winning, he is winning that election. It’s very tough for people who don’t live in New York or California to understand that, but that is what’s happening,” Sheekey said.

Alan Bender, a Kuwaiti-born Canadian businessman, made the accusations in video-conference testimony on October 23 from Toronto for a civil case filed in Florida against the brother of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani, over allegations the Sheikh ordered his American bodyguard to murder two people and that he held his American paramedic hostage.

…In explosive testimony made by video link from Toronto, Canada to a Florida District Court on October 23, Kuwaiti-born Alan Bender claims to have deep ties with governments and royal officials across the Middle East including Qatar. In his statement, he says he met Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.

The three allegedly claimed credit for the meteoric rise of Omar, saying: “If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends,” according to Bender’s sworn deposition. The deposition was obtained by Al Arabiya English and authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs.

…In the testimony, Bender claims to have been asked to recruit American politicians and journalists to be Qatari assets. He says he objected and the Qatari officials responded by saying that several American politicians and journalists were already on the payroll—most prominently Omar, who was allegedly described as the “jewel of the crown”, according to the deposition.

…Bender’s accusations go much further. According to his testimony, Al-Masnad said that Qatar “recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official.… They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her.” For her part, Omar cooperated with the Qataris and received cash payments, he alleges in the deposition.

Ilhan Omar was recruited by a foreign government, received funding from a foreign government, and passed sensitive information through intermediates to Iran, a Florida court has been told.

The claims came during testimony by Kuwati-born Canadian businessman Alan Bender, who was giving evidence in the trial of Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani. The Qatari emir’s brother stands accused of ordering his American bodyguard to murder two people, and of holding an American citizen hostage. His deposition, obtained by Al Arabiya English, was authenticated by the attorney for the plaintiffs, according to the publication.

Speaking from Toronto by video link, Bender told the Florida District Court that he met with Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs Mohammad bin Ahmed bin Abdullah al-Masnad and two other senior Qatari officials.

According to his sworn deposition, the three officials told him: “If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends.”

Bender testified that the officials asked him to recruit American politicians and journalists as Qatari assets, and that when he objected, was told that several prominent figures were already on the payroll. US Congresswoman Omar was described as the “jewel in the crown,” he said.

Qatar “recruited Ilhan Omar from even way before she thought about becoming a government official. […] They groomed her and arranged the foundation, the grounds, for her to get into politics way before she even showed interest. They convinced her,” he added.

The deposition shows he further told the court that, during a 2017 meeting with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Omar swore allegiance to him. At the time she was a junior state representative in Minnesota.

Omar was said to also have passed information to Qatar which was subsequently handed along to Iran, and was actively involved in recruiting other American politicians to likewise work for Qatar, Bender testified.

“The best thing money can buy are American officials because they are the cheapest of the cheapest costing officials in the world,” the Qatari officials were said to have told him.

Omar is already found by the Minnesota Campaign Finance Board to have broken campaign finance rules, by improperly using campaign money for out-of-state travel while a state representative. Conservative group Judicial Watch has also called on the House Ethics Committee to investigate Omar for alleged offenses, including immigration fraud. But these claims go much further.

Omar was one of 107 House Democrats who co-signed a letter Thursday, calling on Secretary of State Mike Pompeo to reverse his announcement on the legality of West Bank settlements. The signatories claimed such a move “severely damaged prospects for peace” in the region.

Michael Bloomberg is feeling the heat on multiple fronts from fellow leftists. Not only is he taking criticism for being another old rich ‘white guy,’ but now far left entertainment rag Rolling Stone is chastising him for directing his news agency to not investigate him or his democrat rivals. In fact the entire editorial board has been suspended. Trump and the Republicans, however, are still fair game.

Writer Matt Taibbi declares this to be “death of the news business” in his write up for Rolling Stone:

Bloomberg News suffered a major disruption over the weekend. The episode predicts the future of the news business, and the death of the news business.

After billionaire and former New York Mayor Mike Bloomberg formally entered the race for the Democratic presidential nomination Sunday, Bloomberg agency Editor-in-Chief John Micklethwait circulated a memo to editorial and research staff. In it, Micklethwait told staff it would not “investigate” either his owner and boss, or any of his boss’s Democratic opponents:

If Mike Bloomberg had any respect for the news business he would encourage his editorial staff to kick him in the balls at every opportunity. Either that, or he would sell his media business. Or not run for president.

Characteristically, he picked the one path that is most contemptible and destructive, retaining ownership of one of the world’s biggest news outlets just to defang it for the duration of his (incidentally moronic) presidential run. It’s an awesomely selfish act that shows his contempt for the whole idea of journalism.

With this decision, Mike Bloomberg just put the roughly 2,700 journalists who work for him in a terrible ethical bind. If huge portions of the political landscape are closed off to those reporters by fiat, by definition none of their reporting in any other direction can really be legitimate.

It’s appropriate to focus investigative coverage on President Donald Trump. But if this is the only avenue you’re allowed, it’s not news, and reporters aren’t really supposed to put up with such conditions. It amounts to forcing a political directive on the editorial staff.

Bloomberg readers and viewers will have no idea what stories were passed over. They won’t know what facts or narratives are being left out of coverage. It’s a joke.

Bloomberg with this move is the first major news outlet to openly transform into an unidirectional political organ, formalizing a trend I wrote about in a book called Hate Inc. The news landscape has already been divided into a binary coverage paradigm. For-profit media companies have stopped telling their audiences bad news about their political “sides.”

The Bloomberg dictum created to accommodate a grandiose billionaire jumping in the political ring is less of an organic development than the coverage problems at places like Fox or MSNBC. Still, it comes from the same misguided belief that there’s such a thing as credible one-sided reporting, or credible reporting that pre-excuses owners or sponsors from coverage.

For Mike Bloomberg to own a media network for as long as he has without understanding or caring about this is astonishing. He’s been a presidential candidate for just a few days now, and he’s already done tremendous damage by telling voters he thinks it’s OK to buy the free press. On Thanksgiving, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) posted a video of herself speaking at a Washington, D.C.-area Catholic church in January, as part of a “multi faith” celebration.

“Alhamdullilah (praise to God) for the opportunity to serve my constituents, to care for my children, and have a wonderful love in my life,” the freshman congresswoman captioned the video tweet.

“This is a prayer a read [sic] on the start of Congress and feel grounded in its blessings. Thank you all for standing with me and for our progressive movement!” Omar added.

In the video, the Democrat reads a common Islamic prayer while at the altar of the St. Peter’s Catholic Church.

“There is a prayer in Islam that says, ‘Allah, put courage into my heart, and take away all that might hinder serving you,'” starts Omar. “Free my tongue to proclaim your goodness, that all may understand me.”

“Give me friends to advise and help me, that by working together our efforts may bear abundant fruit,” she continued. “And, above all, let me constantly remember that my actions are worthless, unless they are guided by your hand.”

“Allah, may everything that I do start well and finish well. Sustain me with your power. And in your power, let me drive away (all falsehood, ensuring that truth may always triumph),” Omar concluded.

Key Mueller witness charged with funneling contributions to Clinton campaign

Washington (CNN)Eight people, including a longtime political networker and a CEO, have been indicted on charges of funneling money illegally into Hillary Clinton's 2016 presidential campaign and other political groups.

George Nader, who has for decades hobnobbed with political elites and became a key Mueller cooperator, and Allied Wallet CEO Ahmad "Andy" Khawaja are accused of sending millions to political committees and hiding Nader as its source, with Nader allegedly reporting to a Middle Eastern government on the effort.
According to Federal Election Commission records and details in the indictment, the money primarily went toward backing Clinton's 2016 campaign efforts. Though Clinton and her affiliated campaign finance groups are unnamed in the indictment, the money primarily went to her campaign, according to a source familiar with the investigation and campaign finance records. Attorneys for the Clinton campaign, the Democratic Party, and Bill and Hillary Clinton did not respond to requests for comment on Wednesday.
The other conspirators are alleged to have been part of Khawaja's donations scheme, which allowed him to exceed campaign finance limits, according to the indictment.
Nader, specifically, is accused of sending more than $3.5 million through Khawaja to political committees so they could gain access to then-candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016. "It was a purpose of the conspiracy for Nader and Khawaja to use their access to Candidate 1 to gain favor with, and potential financial support from, the government of Foreign Country A," prosecutors wrote in the indictment. The contributions were disguised so Nader's involvement was hidden, the Justice Department said.
At one point, Khawaja hosted a Clinton campaign fundraiser at his home featuring Bill Clinton because Khawaja had contributed almost $1 million in contributions to the campaign. He hosted other political events, too, according to the indictment.
And, through his company, Khawaja donated $1 million to the Donald Trump inaugural committee, securing inauguration tickets for himself, Nader and another conspirator, the indictment said.
None of alleged conspirators have entered pleas in DC District Court, where they were charged.
The newly unsealed indictment adds to a collection of cases the Justice Department has brought cracking down on foreign political contributions and influence in the wake of the Robert Mueller special counsel investigation. In other pending criminal cases, prosecutors have alleged illegal contributions that went to many types of candidates and political interests, especially Republicans, and have sketched out efforts from several governments, especially Russia, to tap into American politics.
In the Mueller investigation, Nader had become a key cooperator and had given extensive information about his contact with a Russian and the Trump campaign. The special counsel's office investigators had asked questions about Nader's political networking, some of which touched on the new set of allegations, according to a source familiar with the investigation. Separately, Nader was charged with transporting child porn after he finished his cooperation with Mueller. He has pleaded not guilty and is in jail as that case progresses.

In all, the indictment amounts to 53 criminal charges.
Khawaja funneled some campaign contributions through the other alleged conspirators, according to the indictment.
(Khawaja and the others gave money to dozens, even hundreds, of political campaigns and groups from 2015 to 2016, for both parties, according to the FEC.)
Khawaja is also charged with giving bad information to a witness in the investigation, allegedly obstructing the federal grand jury in DC.
Foreign Country A, Candidate 1 and the candidate's spouse are unnamed in the indictment. But a source familiar with the case said the candidate was Clinton, and the indictment refers to related Nader WhatsApp messages about "the Big Lady." In another message, Khawaja describes the candidate as his "sister."
The country is in the Middle East, the indictment says.
Mueller's interest in Nader appeared to focus on his close relationships with the United Arab Emirates, a Russian businessman and people close to Trump -- and how he became a connector between a rich and powerful Russian, Kirill Dmitriev, and the Trump associates.
Nader was a key witness for Mueller as the special counsel pieced together a Seychelles meeting in early 2017 between Trump supporter Erik Prince and the prominent Russian government banker Dmitriev, who has close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin. Nader's efforts to set up meetings with Trump surrogates are mentioned extensively in Mueller's report on Russian interference in the 2016 election, which resulted in no criminal charges against Americans for any interference conspiracy.
"Nader informed Prince that the Russians were looking to build a link with the incoming Trump administration," Mueller wrote about their interactions shortly after the 2016 election.

Jackson Lee was sued last week by a former CBCF intern who claims the Texas congresswoman retaliated against her after she reported she was raped by former CBCF intern coordinator Damien Jones. The lawsuit alleges Jackson Lee fired the woman years later after she began legal proceedings against Jones.

Jackson Lee had been asked by the CBCF board of directors to step down, but refused to do so, Politico reported last week. At least one board member responded in protest, and Politico reported that "sources with knowledge of the situation say more are expected to follow if [Jackson Lee] remains."

Muslim state lawmaker Movita Johnson-Harrell, a Democrat from Philadelphia, was charged with stealing more than $500,000 from her own non-profit to pay for vacations, furs, designer clothes, bills and her run for state legislature.

The crooked Democrat didn’t even serve one whole year in office and she is already resigning in disgrace — she is also facing jail time.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported:

State Attorney General Josh Shapiro said Johnson-Harrell engaged in “brazen corruption” and systematically tried to cover up her crimes by falsifying records and financial statements.

“Her theft knew no bounds,” Shapiro said as he announced that his office had charged the first-term lawmaker with theft, perjury, tampering with public records, and related crimes Wednesday morning.

Shapiro said Johnson-Harrell would plead guilty to charges and faces jail time. “There will be a guilty plea that will be worked out, and you will see the details of that soon,” he said.

Movita Johnson-Harrell “vigorously disputed” the allegations through a statement from her attorney.

“I am saddened and dismayed by the nature of the allegations brought against me today. I vigorously dispute many of these allegations, which generally pertain to before I took office, and I intend to accept responsibility for any actions that were inappropriate,” she said.

Recall, Movita Johnson-Harrell was just elected in March of this year in a special election when she attacked a Christian state lawmaker who prayed to “Jesus” during her swearing-in ceremony as “blatantly Islamophobic.”

The Muslim lawmaker called for Republican State Rep. Stephanie Borowicz to be censured over her Christian prayer.

A Christian being punished for praying to their Savior is a form of Sharia law — and the newly-elected Muslim lawmaker was pushing for the Christian lawmaker to be punished.

Movita Johnson-Harrell didn’t even last one year in her job before being forced to resign after attacking a Christian woman and stealing money from her own charity to fund an extravagant lifestyle.

CONTROVERSIAL LAWMAKER WHO SERVED TIME FOR TEEN SEX SCANDAL WINS VIRGINIA STATE SENATE SEAT

On Election Night, Democrat Joe Morrissey won the senate seat for Virginia's 16th District after a rocky road filled with scandals that would typically impede the careers of most politicians.

The unconventional political path Morrissey has taken includes a teen sex scandal, jail time, disbarment and alleged inappropriate conduct with a client. Despite this, he still received over 60 percent of the votes, reports WSET.

In 2013, when Morrissey was 56 years old and a member of the Virginia House of Delegates, he hired 17-year-old Myrna Pride to work as an intern in his law office. They began a sexual relationship that they both repeatedly denied, despite prosecutors possessing many of their alleged texts and sexting evidence.

This includes Morrissey bragging in all-caps to a buddy that he had sex with Pride on a conference room table, "AND THEN ON THE FLOOR FOR GOOD MEASURE!"

Meanwhile, Pride had texted a close friend about the alleged sexual encounter, worried because they had not used protection. Morrissey gave her $70 for a morning after pill, according to the graphic texts included in the plea agreement.

Virginia statutory rape law is violated "when a person has consensual sexual intercourse with an individual under age 18."

Morrissey was allowed to plead guilty to the delinquency of a minor in 2014, with additional charges of indecent liberties with a minor, possession and distribution of child pornography and electric solicitation of a minor. At the time of his conviction, Pride was already pregnant with their first child. He served three months in jail.

Morrissey resigned his seat in December 2014 but then ran in the special election to fill his own vacancy. He won that election in January 2015 while in jail, reclaiming his seat in the Virginia House of Delegates.

In 2016, a Henrico County judge allowed a woman formerly represented by Morrissey's law firm to withdraw a guilty plea amid allegations that Morrissey pressured her for sex.

Kanika Shani Morris, 35, said Morrissey exposed himself to her in his law office and continued making advances through text messages, reported the Richmond-Times Dispatch, who were given access to the texts.

Though the messages were sexually explicit, Morrissey described them as merely "flirtatious."

As an attorney, Morrissey was no stranger to running afoul of the law. He was cited for contempt of court ten times, jailed or arrested five times and had his law license suspended twice.
