The Middle Eastern types go to the middle of the beach, as do a lot of tourists because that's where the main bus stop is. Lots of day tripping backpackers also go to the south end. (The rip at that end of the beach is even named Backpackers Rip.)

The northern end is jammed with tourists and BBQ areas have huge groups of Brazilians cooking, drinking, playing drums, doing capoeira. They're not hard to spot.

When you walk along the promenade on a warm evening it's just heaving with people tourists and you can hear a different language every 5 steps. The place is just crawling with tourists. I went for a quick midday surf on Thursday and it was too busy for my liking, and I knew to not go near the place on Friday when it was a stinker.

The 2 Bondi surf clubs have been closed for a week now, and all the locals I know are giving it a miss.

Yes I found out about mononucleosis back in the 80s RE how cats poo can effect unborn babies if mother had contact with it.
Maybe nowadays it’s known as something else, but I took heed of that advice and never went near cats or had any as pets while kids were growing up and played in their sandpit.

Actually, the north end of the beach on the grass/BBQs where all the tourists drink was as packed as a nightclub.

Having seen the huge number of Brazo backpackers out in full force in Manly just now (I went for a quick walk down at the beach after work), not giving a crap, I have decided they are the lowest life form, with complete and utter disregard and disrespect for anyone but themselves. And of course, as soon as someone called the cops to report them, those scumbags of course did the runner, despite numerous people asking them to break it up and move on beforehand, only to be met with laughs and sniggers. Shame we can’t send those backpacking arseholes back to Brazil.

Most Backpacker Hotels are just big Rootin Dorms like USA College Dorms. I reckon put them in their Hostels in solitary confinement, some Big Brother hidden cameras - and you will get the best Porn action ever!!!
