Title: Moderating Books
Post by JaSun on Apr 16th, 2020 at 8:09pm
I've put my hand up.
Travel is closed due to Corona Virus lock down in the industry.
Travel is going nowhere.

So I seek a 'Transfer', possibly the Forum's first.

Currently reading "Sapiens: A Brief History of Humankind" by Yuval Noah Harari.

If you dont get it, hang in there, will be back to normal in 2 years.

Sapiens is on my list, currently reading The Plague by Albert Camus

Wish VIC wouldn't do 'locked topics'. He's so unreachable sometimes. I have more success with Pecca and the Psychiatric sessions I provide for him. I charge him Cash of course.
He lays there on the Couch and tells me he's the Boss.
I just sit there and take notes towards my Best Seller.

The Plague is tough going. I prefer the Stranger. Camus is a master of the mixed narrative. It's unsettling but I suppose that's the point.

I've just started it and I'm finding reading during all this BS tough going. I'm even finding watching serious film or TV a chore.

Gordy, sometimes you've just got to go with the flow.

Start out small. See if you can moderate your own posts.

Yes indeed. Used to wag school from 10 years of age to hang out in University Libraries and do my own 'research'.
A following day I would get the stick when asked where I was?  >:( Answering, "Out getting a real education." :P

Yes, allowing Pissary another subject to bastardise and push his hate for Trump and his political opinions etc seems a great idea.......NOT!

JaSu would be a good mod for 'Books'.
