America is finished.
Trump has been hopeless and Biden will even be worse.
We have to decide what we in Australia are going to do about it?

Yeah, and we were right then.  Trump isn't an Alpha.  He hasn't acted like it a single time during his Presidency.  I wasn't talking about his election chances, I was talking about the desperation of his supporters to think of him as this brave strong alpha.

Trump is a coward who lies about everything, especially himself and his achievements.  He, at BEST, is a Beta trying to fake it until he makes it to the ranks of an Alpha.

Alpha's don't have to pay women to sleep with them, that alone should disqualify him, but there is a very long list to go with it.

Biden has more than just "tariffs" in his belt.

America will do fine.  There is a lot to recover from even without COVID, but they'll be ok in the long run.

The only question mark is how divided Trump will leave the country and will his tards ever wake up or continue to worship him like qultists.

US President Donald Trump has urged people to boycott tyres from Goodyear, tweeting that the Ohio-based company had banned his famous Make America Great Again slogan.

But the company did not announce such a specific ban, only that it asked employees to refrain from workplace expressions involving political campaigns and "forms of advocacy that fall outside the scope of racial justice and equity issues".

Mr Trump's tweet immediately sent the company's stock downward.

And it was unsanctioned by the company.

Unless we are able to hold Trump personally responsible for the acts of those in his administration, all those who've gone to prison or he had to fire to save himself?

Are we doing that now?

These Protests and real life realities are not political in nature - they can all be supported by anyone of any political belief system.

Quote:
MAGA, supporting all lives

MAGS belongs to one political party and Supporting all lives has been dishonestly weaponized to undermine BLM nothing more.

This policy belongs to one outlet of Goodyear only and is not unreasonable. The policy bans all political attire.

It would apply equally to democrat advertising as it does to "Make American's Dead Again" hats.

They're not?

At this point, Trump is going to lose the election.  The only thing that can save him now is Biden stumbling at the finish line, which I will remind you is very likely.

At this point, Trump is very obviously and publically focusing more on his poll numbers, than the number of people dead from COVID-19.  Even his supporters know that.

Trump is crying that Michelle Obama made a great speech and rage tweeted back to her, accusing the Obama administration of Treason again proving he has not read the constitution and doesn't know the difference between article 3 and hurting the President's feelings.

Then there are his claims that the election is rigged and it's not even happened yet.

He's cooked.

trump knocking it out of the park again

Quote:
US House of Representatives votes to deliver billions in funding to postal service, block cost-cutting measures

The Democratic-led US House of Representatives has voted to provide the nation's cash-strapped postal service with US$25 billion ($35 billion) and block policy changes that have stirred concerns about mail-in voting ahead of the November 3 presidential election.

The 257-150 vote sent the legislation, dubbed the delivering for America act, on to the Republican-controlled Senate.

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said in a statement it would "absolutely not pass" the stand-alone bill.

The White House also strongly opposes the legislation and has said it will recommend US President Donald Trump veto the measure.

But more than two-dozen House Republicans broke ranks to join Democrats in approving the bill during a rare Saturday session called by House Speaker Nancy Pelosi in the middle of the congressional August recess.

With postal voting expected to surge during the coronavirus pandemic, Mr Trump has alarmed Democrats by repeatedly denouncing mail-in ballots as a possible source of fraud.

Postmaster-general Louis DeJoy recently suspended cost-cutting measures that slowed deliveries in recent weeks.

Democrats, who accuse Mr Trump of trying to discourage postal voting to gain an electoral advantage over Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden, have cast themselves as defenders of a public that relies on the United States Postal Service (USPS) for vital deliveries, including prescription drugs.

"The American people do not want anyone messing with the post office," Democratic Representative Carolyn Maloney, who authored the legislation, said.

"They certainly do not want it to be politicised.

"They just want their mail, they want their medicines and they want their mail-in ballots delivered in a timely way. And that is exactly what our bill does."

Ms Maloney also released a USPS document showing an 8 per cent slowdown in the processing of first-class mail, most of it occurring after Mr DeJoy became postmaster in June.

As representatives prepared to vote, Mr Trump took to Twitter to accuse Ms Pelosi and Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer of seeking unnecessary funding for the USPS and trying to pull off a "universal mail-in ballot scam".

"Vote NO to the Pelosi/Schumer money wasting HOAX which is taking place now," Mr Trump wrote.

Mr DeJoy's downsizing drive has included curbs on overtime and removal of post boxes.

The USPS's inspector-general said earlier this month the cost-cutting measures would be investigated — along with potential conflicts of interest related to Mr DeJoy's ownership of millions of dollars in stock in USPS's rivals and customers, according to a financial disclosure form filed by his wife.

Why would Mitch McConnell block post office funding? It's a pandemic. A majority of states are basing their elections on mail-in votes - Republicans too.

What would Mitch McConnell stand to gain? 25 bil off the ballooning deficit?

It doesn't make sense. Why would Republicans sabotage their own vote? Unless - this is a coordinated slash-and-burn strategy to contest a landslide loss to the Democrats.

And what's that going to help them do? Contest the election in the courts while they cry RIGGED WITCH HUNT on Fox News? McConnell's not dumb, he's been around. Is his own political legacy so tied to Trump he's prepared to play tactics like that? He thinks he can hold the election up in the courts for months while they play the media? In the current climate?

I'm curious. Anyone?

Very droll, old boy. We'd ask you to prove this, but you'll just say Paki.

Paki Bottom, Paki Bastard, Paki Bugger.

Obama saw higher growth figures than Trump, who merely rode in on Obama's kaftan. But of course, he couldn't resist screwing it up with trade wars.

Quote:
Trump has benefited from Obama's economic stewardship, as GDP growth under his watch has consistently been between 2% to 3%. In 2018, it was 2.9%. Economic forecasters, however, project the nation's steady GDP growth to decelerate in 2019, dragged down by trade tensions and slowing industries overseas.

That article was written during Trump's salad days. Hardly counts now though, does it? The US economy is now where it was in the Great Depression.

Better luck next time, old boy. Do you think you could manage to burp up a Paki?

All the chars in that article, which I had seen before, indicate that things were better under Trump than O'Bama.  The only grinning you are relying on is crediting O'bama's 8 years for Trumps successes in 4 But did you credit the 8 years of Dubya for O'bama's successes, such as they were?  Er....  no.  But now it's all due to the previous guy.

"Paki Bugger" is the correct appellation.

Records have been broken under Trump, but those same records are being broken again, right now, during the mass unemployment and mass death thanks to the pandemic.

Those records mean nothing to anyone but a fraction of the 1%.

Everything outside of that doesn't look good for Trump.  If you track his spending and reversal of the Obama trends the US was heading for a massive amount of pain thanks to Trump that, luckily for him, or thanks to him and his extremely poor response to COVID-19, the pandemic will mask most of it, at least enough for one-liners to keep the faithful convinced.

China Virus, Democrat Hoax, etc etc.

But of course. It was the same economy - until Trump started putting tariffs on things.

And do you know? It was those tariffs that Trump was trying to buy his way out of when the virus hit. It's why he didn't dare do anything to offend his buddy Xi, who he was begging to buy soybeans from his hardest hit states.

Xi even said to him - virus? What virus? It'll get better in the Spring, you'll see.

And what did Trump do? Went straight on Fox to say, oh it'll get better in Spring, you'll see. It's just a case of the sniffles. I'm smart. I know stuff. What do the experts know?

Meanwhile, the CIA, the CDC and everyone else was telling Trump directly: this is the big one. The longer you act, the worse it's going to be.

The one thing Trump lacks is instinct. He buys three casinos, ignoring all advice, and a recession hits. He divorces his wife, marries his mistress, and she leaves him after two days. He gets given an economy, green shoots all over, and he starts a trade war. He gets warned of a killer virus, is advised to act quick, and he does the opposite. Face masks, malaria tablets, the lot.

If you ever want to know what path of action to take, ask Trump, then do the opposite. Trump has survived by lying his way out, but not this time.

The jig's up. Trump will be the first US president to face charges. How he'll escape wearing stripes is beyond me, but he will get his day in court.

Seeing Steve Bannon in cuffs was surreal, but it's a sign of things to come. Trump and his buddies are going down.

Thank you, Echo Bwian.

Any ideas of your own, mong?   :D

By what measure is he knocking it out of the park? By every measure America was doing better under Obama.

That is simply a lie.

You should have checked before commenting - he was right.

All the chars in that article, which I had seen before, indicate that things were better under Trump than O'Bama.

They actually indicate that all Trump was continuing the trends set by Obama

We will make America great again, no?

the dems definitely want a polarised society

put trump in jail could ensure that

Oh? You think the Donald should be set free if he's convicted?

Strange. You used to say he'd relish the opportunity of jail time. How about Steve Bannon? Roger Stone? Michael Flynn? Michael Cohen? Paul Manafort? Do you want me to go on?

Should they all get off?

You used to champion the "narrow road to success", dear. You used to say sure, the Superior Man might break a few rules, but he "relishes adversity" and "accepts his just deserts" and "takes it like a man". "Do the crime, you do the time". That's what you used to say.

Are you now saying we should give them more because they have all? Are you saying we should pass the hat around to support their lifestyles?

Paul Manafort likes $12,000 ostrich-skin jackets. Steve Bannon likes Chinese billionaires' yachts. Roger Stone likes Saville Row suits with silly hats like he's going to a gangster party.

Do you think Fat Steve and Janeen should continue to pay their way, or do you think Mr Trump and his friends should learn self-sufficiency via the "evolutionary blowtorch"?

This is a completely new take, dear. You've just reversed everything you once said again. What changed?

I'm curious. I'm keen to hear what you think.
