I'd like to see a bit more of a spotlight put on the security firm, to be honest.
If you pay a company to do a job, they should do a proper job. I am sick of hearing excuses about lack of training etc. Government should have done more to provide guidelines but the security firm or firms should be answerable. What security guard, paid to keep people in quarantine, lets them out to go shopping as a favour? You don't need much training to know that isn't on and you should be held accountable. How about a spotlight onto exactly which security firms let us down and if they are still in business & why they are not being sued. |

While we're having all of these "under the bus chuckings", resignations and enquiries, etc. I'm wondering if someone is going the ask the most important question of all.
Which is - why are all of these "returned travellers" not being checked for COVID-19 BEFORE they board the planes to fly back to Australia? Then this entire fiasco would never have occurred in the first place. I believe it is just a matter of time before one of these "returned travellers" infect one or more of the crew on these planes and they start spreading the virus far and wide during their next flights (since last I heard airline crews were still exempt from quarantine requirements). Instead of all of this 'stuffing around' they need to go directly to the original source of the problem and fix it. Before it happens again. And again... |

They were the ones who brought the Virus into Dan's wonderful world of Victoria and forced him to lock the State down like a Prison and put a fire blanket over the Virus to snuff it out. Dan has shown how tough State Premiers are. Dan had to replace his Health Minister to appease the gods with a worthy sacrifice. Dan also saved the rest of Australia from being infected by super-spreader Victorian people. Some of them defiantly tried to cross the borders because they said it is their 'Right' to. Once infected, there were many Victorians who were happy to defiantly keep the Virus spreading in the middle there before Dan got tough. Dan has done a great job for his State and the country. Dan is the Man. |

I looked at the graphs for back in April... Victoria was the best, with lowest to nil infections while the rest of the states spiked! Then it went topsy turvy, other states had the ADF help out, but Victoria went for private security contractors instead! Then... all states had a huge lowering of daily infections with ADF in control (because ADF follow orders) whilst Victoria spiked BIG time (because security guards followed their dicks instead of orders). That, is the picture that tells the story no? |
