Has anyone else noticed that both Aussie and Jovial Mong are suddenly using the pejorative "Karen" wrongly to attack female members of OP?

It is an American term with a nuance the do not grasp so I smile every time they wrongly use it.

Perhaps there is a more appropriate Aussie term they could use instead?

There was the Karen who would not wear a mask in Bunnings. Karen is used quite widely to describe someone stupid and shallow.

Not very observant are you.  Cods has been referring to Marla as Marion (or similar) so I thought I'd adopt Marla's use of the word Karen as a name for cods.  She needs to have fire returned.  She is quite happy to refer to me as Arsie, so...she gets it back.

I am quite observant and understand that both you and Mong only started using the term "Karen" quite recently and after its popularization.
