I'm just presenting the fact that scientists are now looking at the effects of wind farms, solar panels on climate change.

You wont hear about this on mainstream media who are hell bent on CO2 doomsday scenarios.

It is becoming evident that wind mills change local air patterns and this causes changes in temperature.

Your right to bring up the fires, because if we do have last years fires again and we have forests of wind mills all over the place changing air flow patterns and temperature, I wonder what will happen.

Up until now I was all for green energy, but seeing the cost and now delving into the effects leads me to believe that in our efforts to curb manmade greenhouse emissions we will end up destroying the Earth.

Especially if large scale wind farms change the Earths wind patterns and jet stream.

I wonder how we will fix that....!!!!.....LOL

No. I'm talking about 'Cities' and other Human habitations causing 'HEAT' (but at night its more apparent like a 'Fire' burning) from all that 'power' running day and night.

The effect of Wind Turbines on the nature of affecting temperature and wind variations is about as big as chopping down a forest and the impact on wind variation of that - or from growing Forest Plantations on hills where there was previously none.

C'mon Ajax. Give us something bigger to play with.  :D

Ok my bad about the fires.

And yes I agree the urban heat island effect is real.

But you come across as a dude who would like to have electricity at his finger tips and every now and again you would like to jump into your car and travel a few hundred klms, I'm not so sure green clean energy and provide that type of lifestyle.

Ok that's your opinion but I think if we can change the wind patterns of the Earth and maybe even the jet stream that will create something much bigger than human fossil fuel emission.
