Sprintcyclist is implying that the greening of the arctic is a good thing.
The greening of the arctic is evidence that temperatures in the arctic and antarctic are rising faster than the average temperature rise of the planet. It's not a good portent because the greening will cause more heat to be absorbed from the sun which was previously reflected back into space by ice and snow. |

Would it be fair to say that the recent coldest temperature record being broken could suggest that the average global temperature is cooling?

Record heat.... global warming. Record cold... climate change. La Nina record rainfall... global warming. Drought... climate change.

What if this 'extreme' and erratic climate change of very cold, very hot, very wet, very dry, etc. What if the climate is warping towards an outcome??
What if it manifests in a world where the Equator is a constant 30C degrees and both Poles are a constant 10C degrees... just like what the Saurians enjoyed? Their hazy sky is our hazy polluted sky. Who knows, your planet is probably already being 'terraformed' from behind closed doors. |

Poor petal. So for them to be above the snowline; in the past they must have been below the snowline. Climate changes - who knew? ;) |

So, Geta: What do you think about this reported increase in greening?

The only working map in the link shows the predicted increase from 2081 to 2100. |

Oh dear, So the increase in greenness is mostly because of global warming in the higher latitudes Thanks for providing evidence that climate change is real |

Ah no thats not the case. Like most things there will be advantages and disadvantages to our increasing levels of CO2 The disadvantages however overwhelmingly outway the advantages with CO2. Especially considering how much our modern economies rely on a stable climate |

Who ever said it wasn't petal. It has changed for eons. Glaciation, interglaciation, glaciation, interglaciation. |

Perhaps you can show some of the proven disadvantages. BTW- whenever did the earth have a stable climate. ::) |
