I have no links so take this as you will, but I've just spoken to some colleagues in the US, on either side of the country, and MAGA people are stockpiling food, water and cash because they think there is about to be Martial Law declared and a full communications blackout.

This, of course, is like just a regular week in MAGA land, they're always in fear about something like this, but now theyve already done their dry run terrorist attack.

They've seen how easy it is.

Who knows what will happen next.

There is going to be rightwing violence if Trump is impeached.

Trump's supporters have tied their identity to Trump and he's leaving.  They're not acting rationally and they've already crossed the line into violence and they'll do it again.

They have no respect for the US, they don't care about governance, policy or the rule of law. 

They feel lost.

I get that, but it doesn't help that I understand it.

A line has been crossed where any scenario where Trump doesn't get another 4 years in office warrants violence in his supporter's minds.
