You do know one year is weather? At least 30 years for climate?
And no typhoon hit? Normally that would be good news. ;) It seems that rhere have been two years since 1911 when Taiwan had no typhoons. But study averages they give the result people want to see. "In addition, since the records began, there have been two separate years that Taiwan has not been affected by any typhoon whatsoever: in 1941, when there were 20 typhoons recorded, and 1964, which saw a record number of 37 typhoons.
