PA wasn't any different to what happens here at OzPol. Same people, same language.  ;) However, like OzPol, there was always somebody posting, now PA is d.e.a.d. ::)

The place has been dead for a while. Sparta was a B A D  idea. Nothing PA about the place. The destruction started when AiA was made Exhalted(sic) Leader there.

BO thinks the forum called PA here is hers. It is FD’s and will never be PA again. But it could be looser and more fun with more members. Any political forum needs right wing and left wing members or it becomes an echo chamber like BO has made the PA forum here.

I will keep trying to register there every single day. There is absolutely no reason to deny me membership there. I should also be able to vote in this election as a PA member for years!

A Poll was run and it was decided by the majority (5 to 3) that only those who were regular contributors could vote in this Election.  That will give you some idea of how many people actually post over there.  ;)

I don't think BO is killings the place. i think it needs change and that is why we have elections as new ELs bring change.

We are all getting old and there is only us lot that will keep these places alive. Younger people have there Face Books and Twitter ...etc. So it is either all of us or no-one going forward.

These forums will die with us. They will not live on. So lets stop the old BS and work to have vibrant forums. That means no bannings just because you don't like someone or you feel offended is just BS. However trolls are a different matter.

A new EL may choose to do things differently.

If elections have one thing in their favor it is that they can bring back members who left a long time before. The leader of a forum then can try to keep these old posters coming back and posting. I already told him that there is no Jovial Monk in the PA Membership List.  It hasn't been there for years and had nothing to do with Black Orchid. He probably deleted it in one of his hissy fits.  ;)

All registrations are on hold until after the election is decided.

I think the point is....just as has happened since AiA, EL has been determining who votes.....thus controlling the outcome.

If it is the Members deciding that, let's see the discussion and the numbers involved.
