Anyone else having an intermittent problem this morning with pages failing to load both on here and PA at the same time

Yep, was happening to me about 20 minutes ago but it now seems to have come good. Don't go to PA so I can't comment on that.

I've seen it happen from time to time over the past several weeks or months, a short period of 'slowness' followed by a return to normal.

It might be whenever the auto-backup runs.

Thanks, FD. I was thinking along those lines myself - server maintenance or backups or something like that.

Happens around 5pm or thereabouts as well on some days.  All you need is a spot of patience and wait a bit and try again.  ;)

Just the government agencies doing their regular sift of comments.. you'd be surprised... they merely scan for 'trigger words' and then check out what is actually said - sometimes it is used for polls of opinion and sometimes for other purposes.

I used to do that kind of thing manually for public radio broadcasting.... just a little earner on the side.
