Post by Sir lastnail on Jun 20th, 2021 at 10:56am
Surely not - but isn't it perfectly safe ?? Check it out - the numbers don't lie. Can't blame bitchute or right wing conspiracy theorists this time :D LOL

https://covidlive.com.au/

Total doses administered in Australia      6,491,476

First and 2nd doses in Australia      5,650,274          841,202

Percentage of 2nd doses = 13%

How come ??? Many I have heard are not having it because they experienced some shocking adverse reactions from the first dose and regret they had it in the first place. Unfortunately for the pro-vaxers the numbers don't lie which is bad news for the brainwashed pro-vaxers on this forum.

Speaking of pro-vaxers where's mucus today ??

AstraZeneca vaccine - 12 weeks between first and second dose.

Pfizer vaccine - at least 21 days between first and second dose.

Conclusion: a lot of people have had their first dose and are waiting to have their second.

My first AstraZeneca dose was last Thursday and I'm having the second one on September 13th. They made the second appointment for me before I left the vaccination centre on Thursday.

Yep I've had my first dose and I'm waiting the 3 weeks for my second dose

Surely nails realises there is a time gap between the 1st and 2nd doses

There's actually a lot of validity for people between 50 and 60 to reconsider getting a 2nd AZ now the age has been raised to 60.

I'm reading mixed messages about whether the 2nd dose is more dangerous than the first and suspect stock of the vaccine and the Govts desire to get everyone vaccinated is partly behind the instance of the 2nd dose in that age range.

Perhaps the issue is that coronavirus is only seriously concerning to the elderly and those with compromised immune systems. Those who are not in those categories only want to get one dose because they do not want to make their own immune system lazy in being able to fight the disease. As far as I am aware, there are 30,000 Australians that now have their immunity from the virus. 910 Australians did not have sufficient immunity from coronavirus and are now dead. We may now be in a position that Australians might be treating the coronavirus as seriously as the influenza virus. Because of the low rates of colds and influenza in Australia, as well as coronavirus, people do not see a reason to either get the vaccination or get a second dosage of the vaccine.

It's because you have to wait for the second dose. When they first started out, 0% of people with the first dose already had the second dose.

My wife gets Pfizer, mid 50s, me I'm waiting as I'm over 60. My son says he can get me Pfizer if I go to SE QLD. I'll just wait. I rarely go out and mix and I'm happy to stay isolated. Yes I get/understand the odds of a bad outcome with AZ but I'm not really at an in risk group, I'm not in need as those in cities. The new strain does make me a little more worried about that and if it kicks off in the cities I'll just get AZ.

Main reason Im getting the jab (had the first one) is I want to travel and I can see vaccination passports on the horizon. I think people with underlying health conditions or people who are simply overweight and unfit need to be cautious.

I think it's fattos that need the jab the most. Yes they could get a reaction but they are in serious trouble from Covid.

Young fit people are probably at higher risk from the jab than the disease it prevents.

Id be cautious about which version of the jab I was getting if I was in that category, was my point.

People don’t have to be obligated to take the second jab if they decided not to for their own reasons.
I have been told the Covid injections are not compulsory for any of them.
But pressure, restrictions, and fear mongering from our state leaders in Vic are using nouns such as it’s a “beast” of a virus and can catch it just brushing past someone in the street?
When I saw evidence from a press meeting after constant questioning, finally admitted there have been no Covid transmissions in any outdoor situation…. Hence the query of why people should be made to wear masks outside.
It’s over the top control issue. Victoria… the laughing stock of the nation.
As for that pain in the arze checking in or signing into every shop in a shopping centre… I decided to avoid a lot of shops because of that hassle.
Chemist, health food shop, supermarket and out … so many stores I just stood there and looked through the window instead.
I used to do my own checking into stores before all that came into being…by collecting a receipt from everywhere I shopped, showing store, date and time.
How long is that QR code checking in going to be in force for?

No, but thats because the immunity it generates after one dose is enough to be protective. Have you never heard of multiple doses for vaccines in your life?

I got vaccinated in 2020 for the prevention of certain diseases. This was in relation to the possibility that I work in the hospital system. According to my Medicare statement, I got three doses of the Hepatitis A vaccine. One dose of the Hepatitis B vaccine. And I did get the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine.

I just find that the vaccine for coronavirus may be just a bit too much for the general public having to get two doses.

Delaying a COVID vaccine’s second dose boosts immune response

Why do you need this waiting period?

The first dose helps to prime your immune system. It introduces it to the spike protein and allows it to generate a small immune response prior to the second dose. Time is needed to allow this process to develop properly.

It’s also important not to get your second dose too early, as this may impact the effectiveness of the vaccine.

According to guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)Trusted Source, you can receive your second dose up to 4 days earlier than recommended.

Depends on the test. The antibody test may well do but the PCR test doesn't

I asked my parents whether they had their covid vaccines yet. Dad said "Nahhh". Mum just said "no". I asked if they were not bothered about it. Mum said that she will get the vaccine in the course of time.

I registered over a week ago to get my vaccine. I had only recently received the email stating that I was registered to get my vaccine from the Base Hospital. They will notify me when my turn will be.
