First the paper he quoted was about influenza not Covid. Yes the flu transmits via aerosol, but it also transmits via fomite transmission. I also note this paragprah on the paper he posted

Yes.

Why wash your hands when they are only going to get dirty again? Why cut your fingernails when they are just going to regrow? It is all about harm minimisation. The two week period where I had to wear a mask to work and to go shopping was just something that was only a mild inconvenience. The greater inconvenience would have been having to stay at home recovering from a communicable disease, which experts tell me affect myself worse than other people my age.

Yes….it sure does come out from somewhere. If we are standing besides or behind someone then that exhaled air is in our direction.

And putting it on properly? This looks to me the way everyone wears masks that I see in many public places.

Quite, theres been a lot of incorrect usage. Thats why it was never recommended that masks were the only form of protection we should be relying on.

Wonder why its taken so long for all these "experts" to figure this out? I'm not medical expert but I had already worked it out for myself over a year ago - Covid spreads exactly the same way as the flu and other airborne viruses do.
