Title: Had my first jab yesterday Post by Valkie on Jul 20th, 2021 at 8:48am
The needle was painless.
All afternoon, nothing, not even pain where the needle went in. This morning........EVERYTHING HURTS Joints hurt Muscles hurt Head aches Eyeballs hurt even my toe nails are hurting. I haven't felt this sore since I did my black belt grading And that was 5 hours of flat out hard slog. A hot shower helped a bit, but it looks like the next 48 hours will be just sitting around in pain. Fortunately though, apart from a headache, my wife feels fine. OWWWWWWwwwwww |

I had my first AZ about 8 weeks ago. Felt fine until next morning, then it was like a sight hangover plus a sore arm. Fine by teatime. I've had worse from other vaccines over the years, so no issues this time.
In any case a reaction is a sign the vaccine is working. |

Phone your doctor - that sounds too strong for a reaction. I only got a mild temp of 37.7 C 12 hours after an AZ shot. |

I felt a bit tired for a couple of days, and had a low-intensity
itch at the injection site for almost a week, but otherwise had no ill-effects at all. It was the AZ vax. |

The way people talk about the side effects, I might be better off getting covid and letting my immune system deal with it. I might cough a few times, but I would likely not know I had it.

Well done, Valkie.
I've had a very mild reaction on day 3 of my 1st Pfyzer, and a slight sore arms from the second shot. |

Couldn't find my post....must be going senile.
All good today, slight headache a little queezy last night, but this afternoon.....all good. Even went out for a kayak, but didn't catch any fish. A little tired, but paddling a kayak for 6-8 klm does that to you. Now in a month to 6 weeks I get my second jab Yes, it was the AZ because I'm old...63 this year. |

I had the AZ vax and like 2 out of every 3 people I got a mild temp within 12 hours so my immune system recognised Covid-19 protein spikes - I may have been immune like I think 2 out of 3 people already are? |
Title: Re: Had my first jab yesterday Post by Valkie on Jul 22nd, 2021 at 9:28am
OK, today, 3 days after the jab.
Not one symptom, nothing, I feel great. Obviously I got something when they jabbed me, but now its all back to normal. In 4 to 6 weeks Ill get my second and Ill see how that goes. |

There you go, you see? Teach a man to fish and he doesn't catch anything. Give a man a fish and at least he gets to eat. Wait three months for your second jab, dear, it works better. If you want maximum immunity, do the three. It may not happen overnight, but it will happen, yes? |

I suspect you're lying again ... I'd almost guarantee you've been jabbed before ...as well as a few left hooks, uppercuts and whatever else they could throw at you |

It's been one month since my first shot - no lasting after-effects at all. No blood clots - which I should have by now if I was going to get one. I've been off the anti-coags for 3 weeks. Six weeks to go til shot no 2. I've seen advice saying to hassle the doc to get it earlier, but also seen advice not to. Since I'm already booked for an appointment for No 2, I think I'll wait. A couple of weeks either way shouldn't matter that much as I'm not in a big city, and am taking appropriate precautions. |

Even if you are fully vaxed (both jabs) you can still catch it pass it on to others and sometimes even die from it. Supposedly it helps you to fight covid and keeps you from dying from it. The world is the laboratory and all its peoples are the guinea pigs. No one knows what effect these vaccines will have on people only time will tell. |

My body has been changing all my life. Once I was fit and young, now I'm old and in pain. Broke my back 18 years ago, that certainly was quite a change. I have broken many bones and the ribs on my left side are all calcified due to being targets while competing. My shins and forearms bones are all lumpy from blocking. My eyes have lost their ability to see far and short distance as clearly as they used to. My jaw clicks as I chew My teeth have been broken and repaired. Arthritis is sneaking up on me every day. My diverticulitis prevents me from eating some of the things I enjoy My hearing is fading and I often have to have people repeat what they say. I can no longer stay up all night and then party again the next day. So, my body is changing from a jab, so be it. I just wish I could change all the other things. |
