COVID-19 Armidale: Fourth case of coronavirus discovered.
A statement from Northern Tablelands MP Adam Marshall said he has been advised of the confirmation of a fourth COVID-19 case in Armidale, detected overnight.
At an 11am press conference, NSW Premier Gladys Berejikian said there were no new cases in the city, but the figures relied on by the premier are only updated until 8pm the previous evening.

The Armidale Express has learned the test result for the latest positive case came back after 8pm last night, so it was not included in the Premier's update.

So the 10:54 press statement is about Gladys speaking 6 minutes later.  She was 15 hours behind but an MP knew about the new case.  So Gladys must have asked to be out of date and chooses to speak at 11 in the morning but not earlier like other premiers.   And so she gets things wrong.

Yesterday : "There were no new cases recorded on Wednesday in Armidale, Tamworth and Northern Rivers. Unfortunately the same isn't the case for Hunter and New England," Ms Berejiklian said on Thursday.

The State Premier doesn't know that Armidale is in New England. It's the only NE town with covid but the North West has more cases. So she must think Dubbo and Walgett are New England.
