Given he's a vet by background, he probably does have some Ivermectin but he'll give it to his animals

Yes it kills COIVD in vitro, but in vivo you'd need far higher doses than what is the current maximum recommendation, plus given ivermectin kills virus by suppressing a host cellular process it would cause significant adverse effects in the patient.
