It went from 17 degrees and 90% humidity at 7am to 35 degrees and 11% humidity by 4pm here. I wish it would storm here.

They go around us. Mostly.
We have lived in our house for 33 years. In that time south of us have been smashed by serious storms and hail North of us have been smashed by serious storms and hail East of us has been smashed by storms and hail. They seem to go around. The reason, I'm told, is because we live where the storms from the south his the hills and divert west or east. And where they divide, is where the hail starts. If it comes from the north it does not get the height to turn to hail, but we cop a lot of rain, and generally little wind. Living on a hill has its advantages. But at night, We love sitting on our balcony and watching the storms rage around the mountain. |

Well, let's see. After a lovely summery 27 degree day yesterday here in Perth we've had rain, hail and thunderstorms since about 3:45am (its now 5am).
At least we have here in Rivervale. The only thing missing is gale force winds. http://www.bom.gov.au/wa/forecasts/perth.shtml Quote:
Sun protection? Really? Are we going to actually see the sun sometime this morning? I'll be very surprised if we do (the rain and hail has finally stopped for now). |

We've had that the past few days even though it hasn't been particularly hot, we haven't reached 30 degrees yet since the start of Spring but its supposed to be 31 this Sunday and 30 Monday. |

I was over there a few years ago. It was a stinking hot day. Then about 3.0pm a nice breeze came through " the doctor" I was told. Almost made it comfortable. But I still headed straight for the air conditioner inside. |

Last time I was there for windsurfing, in early Dec the SW wind started to hit shore about 10am. You could see the white caps on the horizon even earlier and I was usually on 5.0 sail from 11 onwards.
