Still blurring his face?

He's been charged and identified by name. All other news agencies apart from ABC and SBS are showing his picture.

Is there something ABC doesn't want us to know?

Plus, the photo the ABC blurred was their photo taken in court yesterday.

Can anyone answer why the ABC has taken an editorial decision to conceal his face when there is no legal reason to do so, and every other news organisation has not?

ABC TV news is also blurring his face in the airport vision, as is SBS while every other news organisation is not.

Can anyone take a guess why SBS and ABC are making a different editorial decision to the rest?

They've updated.

They've gone to the trouble to get a photographer in position with a long lens to get him going into Perth holding cells, but they've pixilated his face.

In cases with children, the perp is not identified or named to help hide the identity of the child victim.

In this case, we know the victim. The ABC is happy to name him, but not show his face and the ABC continue to use images of Cleo.
