What is this "altering headings" thing? Is it that people can change the thread title to a different title for their own post under a thread title? If so there is no problem with you changing it back or to some other random gibberish when you quote someone doing that. Think of it like a topic virus. The more it's quoted the more it replicates unless you vax it by changing it yourself.
