Most vehicles and aircraft will very soon be inoperable due to lack of trained people to maintain them. Unfortunately the rifles, ammunition and explosives are sufficiently low tech for the Taliban to gain real use out of them.

errr, wasn't it under Trump that he announced the pull out of US forces from Afghanistan, released a vast number of Talib prisoners and deserted the larger coalition airbase with warning?   Seems he should bear as much of the blame as anybody should for what happened.  He started the collapse...  ::) ::)
