... in JAIL.

It's not for no reason that Morrison is terrified of a strong anti-corruption commission.

Fear of the unknown counters knowledge of the known every time... that's how stuffed up Australia has become... not that I support Labor...

Seriously do ppl not learn from the past? whenever someone has been in power too long it gets extreme - remember bjelke? howard?

It's a well know fact that during times of war, unrest or serious problems, people tend to retain the existing grubberment rather than disrupt the stats quo.

Howard orchestrated or took advantage of events to retain his hold.
Often blown out of proportion and then scheduling an election while things were in a state of flux.

Morrison failed to do this when he had the opportunity.
Perhaps he feels save against a dimwit possibly even less capable than himself.
And that's saying something.

In general you are correct but in the examples they were both extreme from well before day one, In Howards case maybe as far back as pre school.

Wasn't your position before the Abbott, Tunbull, Slowmo nightmare began ? It could have been avoided.

My opinion of grubberments is unchanged, I trust not one of them.
Politicians, parties and factions are nothing but figurehead, an object which the sheeple side or discard as they wish.

The true, unchangeable grubberment senior public servants and their minions, rule and change policy as and when they like, the more stupid the leader or politician, the better.

"YES MINISTER"  was more than a funny TV show, it was an insight into the true power in grubberment.

Trust not the grubberment, for they are spiders hiding within webs to entrap and share you, so they can eat you.

I meant that their extremism gets realised because they have had time to legislate their personal visions

Can't remember who it was but someone made the comment many years ago that "most people think of Yes, Minister as a comedy. In Canberra, they regard it as a documentary".

18 prison terms?

If a federal ICAC is formed you might just get your wish. At least 18 of the buggerers are corrupt

So you resort to personal attack fallacies instead of refuting any of the points raised. Therefore, you've run out of actual arguments.
