IN OUR WAKING MOMENTS.....

Does God talk to us ?

Are we listening [for his 'words'] ?




The small quiet voice of God.

It is there, it is always there,   ...but are we listening, and do we 'hear' ?



Sometimes, just words, or advice, will 'come', and will 'touch' my heart....

The words will maybe say;
"Don't go that way.  Go the other way."

Or in a normally fleeting moment, his spirit will say to me;
"Stop !   Just look at that !   What do you see ?"
....and that is all there is.

And its because He wants me to 'pay attention' to something in my presence, or, to be aware of something happening, around me.

It isn't an auditory 'voice'.

But simply, the 'words' will 'appear', in my heart.

The 'words' become an 'awareness', to me.

I need to listen, i need to be receptive.

And i have to celebrate, and to enjoy the 'quiet moments'.



Q.
Why would God, God's spirit, the spirit of God, 'talk' to me, to my heart ?

It is because He 'has a care' for my welfare [i believe].

Just as human parents love their own children, and will try to advise them, and try to guide them.



"Our Father which art in heaven..."

"...will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters,..."




QUESTION;
Are many Jewish people 'so clever', because they often listen to their 'good angels' ?

DWELL AMONG THEM

2 Samuel 7:5
Go and tell my servant David, Thus saith the LORD, Shalt thou build me an house for me to dwell in?
6  Whereas I have not dwelt in any house since the time that I brought up the children of Israel out of Egypt, even to this day, but have walked in a tent and in a tabernacle.


Exodus 25:8
And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.


Exodus 29:45
And I will dwell among the children of Israel,...


Exodus 29:46
...I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them....


Leviticus 26:12
...I will walk among you, and will be your God, and ye shall be my people.


Numbers 5:3
...in the midst whereof I dwell.


Numbers 16:22
.....O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh,....


Deuteronomy 4:20
But the LORD hath taken you, and brought you forth out of the iron furnace, even out of Egypt, to be unto him a people of inheritance, as ye are this day.


Deuteronomy 32:9
...the LORD'S portion is his people; Jacob is the lot of his inheritance.


1 Kings 6:13
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will not forsake my people Israel.
