Let us be realistic about Australia's military. We may only have 60,000 personnel in the frontline military. But, if push came to shove, we would have a million soldiers ready in their capacity to fight a war within a year. Given that we have neither a softly, softly culture nor a landscape that leads us to act complacent, I would say Australians could make up some good soldiers.
