Greggary himself! Yep he has finally come clean.

He doesn't follow medical advice nor does he listen or take medications as prescribed by fully qualified medical practitioners.

Instead ....he relies on GOOGLE 😂🤣😆

Here ....read it for yourself!

That's crazy.

They should first give the patient a referral to have a coronary calcium score test done.

If their score is low - usually under 100 - statins are often quite useless.

I have high blood pressure, and my doctor immediately prescribed statins.

I told her to stick them up her arse.

Instead, I went and had my coronary calcium score test done and my score is zero.

Someone in their 50s with a score of zero and no other heart risk factors doesn't needs to be on statins.

UnSub: if your GP has prescribed statins, ask them for a coronary calcium heart score test before you go down that path - they are the most prescribed drug in the world and in many cases are completely useless.

There is no nutter nuttier than Larry nibbling nuts and socking cucks.

Larry is loopy since she exposed her colon polyps a few years ago in the sewer.

As if the cretins living in the sewer needed that information.

Some things cannot be unshat, Larry.

Larry, have you differentiated each "polyp" and given them pet names?

Larry, are you sure those "polyps" are not ingrown dags?

Now we need to see this repeated about 1,000 times to match the right's many many conspiracies.

Is the claim wrong ? I don't know.

It is nice however to think that the left may possibly finally have someone as naďve or nutty as the average righty.

Hi Lisa,
on some forums it's actually a rule that you can't ask for
or give out medical advice.
The rule says to seek advice from your registered medical practitioner.

Ask your doctor for a coronary calcium heart score test.

A coronary artery calcium score can be used following a Heart Health Check to estimate your risk of heart attack.

Hi Lisa,
on some forums it's actually a rule that you can't ask for
or give out medical advice.
The rule says to seek advice from your registered medical practitioner.

Everyone now knows that Groggy ( under all his shared troll ids) is nothing more than an unhinged obese cyber junkie troll who thinks Google is his and should be everyone else's doctor.

His BS posts are reported to Freediver more than he realises. And not just by me either.

It's not allowed on Australia's biggest forum called Whirlpool
but Greggy gets away with it here.
Thanks for pointing it out Lisa.

Bobby

Freediver was notified as soon as Groggy's BS conspiracy nutter post appeared. In fact I've  promised Freediver that I will update him on Groggy's dangerous and questionable posts from now on.

I don't think Groggy has much more time left on here. Same re Methra. Looks like it may be time for another 12 month ban for both these notorious Yahoo cyber junkie trolls I reckon (if the rumours going around are correct).

I doubt it -
FD lets posters like Greggy get away with it.
No one would take his medical advice seriously.

Groggy log off that id and all other fake shared troll ids you have on the various screens you've been pwned using. And throw more lithium into your mouth. Then go to sleep and never come back to OzPol ever again.

Greggory is correct in what he is saying.

High Cholesterol can cause a build-up blocking blood flow, if the heart is clear then the treatment will have no impact on the heart as there is no risk until there is a build up. May need a 12 month test or something.

However the same cholesterol LDL deposits can block other blood flow paths like to the brain causing a stroke or to the limbs - deep vein thrombosis etc. While the heart being clear infers the flow may be good overall but this assumption is a 50/50 at best.

Not sure if there are tests for this ?

It may however be enough to allow treatment of the cholesterol through diet exercise and weight loss.

See what the Dr has to say but Greggory is correct in what he said though there do seem to be other considerations.

Indeed.

The most important thing to do is have a coronary calcium score test done (along with all the usual blood tests, etc).

“Coronary artery calcium definitely deserves a place in the guidelines for use,” he said. “I think there has been a significant amount of evidence that shows a coronary calcium score improves risk prediction of who is going to have events better than any other biomarker or test . . . . It can tell you who might have lower risk than you previously thought or who might be at higher risk than you thought. When compared with any other test that we have, it has a better ability to accurately predict those events.”

Statins Provide No Clinical Benefit When Coronary Calcium Is Zero, Study Shows

In the new study, which was published online October 31, 2018, ahead of print in the Journal of American College of Cardiology, researchers conducted a retrospective analysis of 13,644 patients who underwent coronary artery calcium (CAC) screening between 2002 and 2009 at Walter Reed Army Medical Center to determine the effects of statins on cardiovascular events. Overall, patients had a low burden of risk factors for atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease (ASCVD) and more than two-thirds had no detectable CAC. Of those included in the analysis, 6,886 were treated with a statin, with nearly half of these patients prescribed the lipid-lowering therapy in the 6 months before the CAC test. Two-thirds of patients were treated with a moderate-intensity statin and 19.3% received a high-intensity statin. The median follow-up was 9.4 years.

In an analysis comparing patients positive or negative for coronary calcium (any amount greater than zero), patients with detectable CAC prescribed a statin had a 24% lower relative risk of MI, stroke, or cardiovascular death when compared with those with evidence of CAC not treated with a statin (adjusted subhazard ratio 0.76; 95% CI 0.60-0.95). In contrast, among patients with no evidence of calcification (CAC score = 0), there was no difference in the risk of major cardiovascular events among those treated with a statin compared with those not treated with a statin.

Here, educate yourself a bit: https://www.mayoclinic.org/tests-procedures/heart-scan/about/pac-20384686#:~:text=A%20heart%20scan%2C%20also%20known,the%20muscles%20of%20your%20heart.

UnSub: if your GP has prescribed statins, ask them for a coronary calcium heart score test before you go down that path - they are the most prescribed drug in the world and in many cases are completely useless.

Soooo... gweggy tujd is revolting against medical advice about statins ...

No, I'm following the medical advice.

I suggest you read the medical study again.

It backs me up 100%.

Is English your first language?  I'm curious.

Oh God! Emucorp STFU! You've been pwned good and proper. No one cares about some stupid googled study you found whilst superglued to that multi cyber junkie troll chair of yours.

You've got a lot of health issues yourself. Mental and Physical. Sort yourself out FIRST before pretending to play doctor online.

Idiot!

Mystery? Even this geriatric fairy learnt enough when dabbling on the other side of the fence to know when a clit demonstrated it was excited. But then again far too many true blue hetro males forget the boy in the boat even exists.

Choko's remind me of my youth - everyone grew them, never liked to eat them at all.

I remember when I was maybe 10 that they collapsed an old shed we had, problem was that I was standing on it at the time.

You think like my parents.

I am sure it was my 25 kilos and not the choko's 400 kilos.

I was being a bit ironic when I said I was standing on the shed - it was in fact my addition that caused the collapse but with the weight of the vines it was only a matter of time before it went down. I was amazed that it stayed up as long as it did.

It was an interesting slow motion trip to the ground, unfortunately not the only one of its type when I was young.

Forgot to mention that my Greek neighbour a few doors down who is country born n bred (originally from Sparta and came to Australia in 1985) has a gripe about growing mint.  She can't grow mint anywhere on her property lol!

She gets the shytes when she comes up my garden pathway. It's growing out of all the cracks in the concrete lol. Luscious big soft leaves too!

These days I deliberately grow it as ground cover all around my front garden (so she and a few other neighbours can pick what they like). Mint comes in handy for cold drinks and salads as well as soups/stews. Oh and Mediterraneans need lots of it for a popular dip involving creamy thick yoghurt/shredded cucumber and chopped up garlic.

Sometimes it's just a matter of position. You plant something in an ideal position and it just thrives.

I also like it in tabbouleh (tabouli). Pain to make but so good.

Just had some home made mint Sause on my vegies for a change.

Mint once grew like that for me too but not anymore. I will keep trying I may have to try growing in pots - oh the shame. Had an area where it just grew wild till a few years ago now nothing. Have 1 small sick looking mint plant left in a different area.

Grandmother had a waterfront place with sandy soil that was always damp (more like wet) near the fence. Put some Mint there and it just took over the whole 200 meter fence line. We were providing mint for just about the whole community. People there still ask if I remember all the free mint, they have no idea that I grew it.

What an awesome read!

Is you background Aussie? I detect a bit of European somewhere lol.

Tsatsiki is the Mediterranean dip I make from scratch using thick Greek yoghurt and shredded cucumber and chopped up mint and chopped up garlic.

Served chilled. Yummy.

Tabouli salad is the healthiest salad in the world IMO. You need LOTS of fresh herbs esp parsley.

I make that salad in these proportions:

4 cups of chopped up parsley
1 cup of chopped up mint
1 cup of chopped up dill
1 cup of chopped up coriander
2 cups of chopped up tomatoes
1 cup chopped up green onions
lemon juice
salt
extra virgin olive oil

• when I usually make this salad I also make fish cakes or felafel patties.
