This site has become a vehicle for pushing whackadoodle conspiracy theories and it's nigh on impossible to find any science at all.

The few tireless members who are not themselves whackadoodles and from whom we are likely to get actual science and real facts are flat out trying to dispute the whackadoodles or have just given up and are mocking them.

It's like the bigotry on here. Take Islam for instance. Admit to not despising Islam per se and you're called an Apologist. All we're trying to say, dudes, is that not all Muslims are trying to kill you, throw gay people off buildings or stone rape victims. But you don't want to hear it. You just want to hate.

Same with Aboriginals.

Same with LGBT.

Same with women.

There are no counter-arguments on this forum. Anyone not a whackadoodle is pushing poo uphill trying to find a ground zero from which to actually discuss issues.

Showing him any kind of compassion will get you nowhere.  He'll abuse it at every turn.  He's not worth our concern, he's too far gone, there's no coming back for him.

There was a time that I feared he'd suffered a recent loss in his personal life that's pushed him down the rabbit hole, but he keeps running away from the light so fast it's likely that he's been disowned by them because of his crazy stances on practically everything, like many QTards and vanilla conspiracy theorists before him.

He's chosen his fate, we should just let him be and if we must engage, simple fact checks on the misinformation he posts. 

Not only can it help someone else not fall for the shenanigans he deliberately seeks, but it's kind of fun watching him debunk his own lies as he contradicts himself over and over by introducing new layers to his conspiracies to explain why the facts don't align with what he's saying without being smart enough to make sure he's not shooting himself in the foot along the way.

Every now and then he'll revert back to the classics of "leftie intellectualism", something something righteous but at the end of the day, the baby is just a little jealous that he has to keep ignoring facts and making them up to justify what he believes.

But he still won't be a man and simply base his opinions on reality instead of trying to shape reality to suit his beliefs, or worse, ever admits he was wrong or made a mistake.

I am not lumping women in with the feminazis as a generalisation. The problem with *some* women would be the issue of those who want to push their misandry and special rights because of the problems that their mothers and grandmothers lived through 50+ years ago.

I cannot really relate to someone when I have not been through similar social problems. If a woman was a victim of a major crime, then I could relate. I can sympathise with people who are undergoing various problems. It is just that I cannot really empathise.

Sore-throat virus. The cough-cough virus. The "I cannot breathe too well" virus. In any way of looking at it, the coronavirus (known about since the 1960s) is not as deadly as the media would like to portray. The elderly and those with compromise immune systems are those that need to worry. I can feel sympathy for them.... I just cannot empathise.

Personally, I believe the standard of "discussion" here took a nose dive after the Yahoo! message boards closed down 9 years ago.

That place was pretty much a free for all with little or no moderation - especially on weekends.  The trolls and other assorted nutcases would usually wait for Friday evenings when the mods (such as they were) signed off for the weekend and the trolls came out to play until Monday morning.

The same thing would usually happen on most weeknights after the mods went home but weekends were the worst with no mods for 2 days (3 days with long weekends).

After the Yahoo! boards closed down the trolls needed a new home where they could get away with their same BS which brings us to where we are here today. One has to wonder how many other forums (the ones that don't tolerate their BS) some of these trolls have been banned from over the years.
