The old, disabled, mums with young kids etc get a pass from my criticism, but why do so many people, mostly fatties just stand on a travelator blocking the way for everyone else?

Nothing specific, just a general annoyance.

I've started doing calf raises when I'm stuck behind a fatty on a travelator so at least I'm putting the time to good use.

The general rule is to stand to one side for people that want to get pass. But, fatties (like I was) like to take a break for 20 seconds whilst they recover from their walk to get to the travelator.

I only ever use travelators if I'm pushing a trolley full of shopping to get to the car.

At Westfield (BJ) it's the only way to the carpark, apart from the lifts which take forever. Yes, people with trolleys are excused because you can't push them and sometimes your trolley lurches to the middle when you get one.

But fatties should be more considerate and not block the way.
