When you have a team of high calibre individuals like the Labor party do it's unfortunate that some are going to miss out

Son - NONE of the party groups has 'high calibre' individuals - just ideologues and self-servers... most with no real idea ....

Every incoming government says the same thing..... the budget is one huge black hole... blah, blah, blah... then they have plenty to go on with for their favourite ideas while starving the rest and in three years time suddenly the bank is flush with money for pork barreling.

After the latest shots at Gladys in NSW, whose response to blatant pork barreling was 'it's not illegal' (showing clearly the true nature of that beast - pure self-interest) and the intervention of ICAC and the demand for banning of blatant pork barreling, it's no wonder AlboGuv is having second thoughts about Federal ICAC and how and where it should function... watch this space...

Yes they do.

However if you look at the last election a week after the Liberals won fighting the election on their economic credentials the RBA cut interest rates to try to kick start a failed economy.

Had Labor won in 2019 they would have taken over a basket case economy that the Liberals spent the election campaign bragging about. It is not difficult to see them doing the same thing again.

If you look at all these cartoons the thing they have in common is that it's all the same things which were absolutely ok under the Liberals are now an emergency.

It's instantly back to throwing unjustified mud just like when Gillard was PM.

Hey Dopes - Absolutely nothing has changed yet.

Everything you are crying about was exactly the same under SloMo.

I judge by results... I'm a hard task master that way..... I'd never have given half of those failures and casual jerks any Queen's Birthday Award..... like elected office - it should only go the real people, not mates and fellow sycophants and fellow Covid failers.... Once there was Anglo Boris, Saxon Trump and Protestant Scomo. All three were too 'political' for the Media to cope with.

Then the Media stooges Biden, Albanese and Truss (come Sunak) come in and suddenly the World is threatened with all out Nuclear War regardless of the pedantic reasons. Fact is that with these three idiots, billions of people around the world could lose their lives and the planet will suffer with them. Stupidity is a dangerous thing indeed.

Guud one.

'Not now, Chris' is the catchphrase in response to Bowen. And his posture is captured perfectly.  ;D

Australia will have nuclear reactors in u-boats but not on land for civilian power generation (and to power all those bloody wind turbines).  The stupidity is astonishing. Bowenesque.

The problem with this cartoonist's perspective is that they have illustrated what everyone knows to the point of cliche, and they seem to imply that we would be better off, perhaps even safer, doing nothing. Let the US and Taiwan fight their own battles. That way, we can be buddies with whomsoever wins.
