He'll nominate in order to avoid criminal charges, yes.

Hopefully though, he'll be in prison or dead before 2024.

Well they have no proof that he did not kill his ex wife, that surely should lead to an investigation or two.

Thats right he only has to nominate to avoid any criminal charges, not they have ever succeeded nor are likely to ever succeed in the witch hunts.

Nope.  Nominating for presidential candidacy doesn't preclude a person being
charged with a crime.  Bear in mind that Trump is now—and if he runs—will still
be a private citizen.  Only a sitting president cannot be charged with a crime,
although that probably wouldn't ultimately protect a president from prosecution.

Trump's claim that he could shoot someone in 5th Avenue and walk away from it
was absurd, and simply showed his pitiful ignorance.  Had he stupidly followed
through with this empty claim, he would've been immediately and successfully
impeached and charged with murder as a private citizen.

That the orange buffoon even voiced the claim illustrated just what an unstable,
boorish, dangerous personality he has.

We will see how it pans out.

"Various motivations may feed into Trump’s electoral calculation for 2024, but one in particular is coming into focus. In seeking office, he would be seeking legal immunity.

To defend himself from potential federal and state prosecutions by seeking the office that would immunize him, Trump would be exploiting the constitutional system"

So far these soap opera hearings have produced nothing but BS or the justice department would have taken action.

The democrats are desperate because Trump would surely annihilate old Dopey in the next election if he is still alive then, some are saying he is already dead.

Trump's vanity will urge him to nominate. It will have nothing to do with policy.

His vanity and his hope of avoiding criminal prosecution.

Nothing whatsoever to do with policy or "making America great again".

FMD Why are Trump supporters so smacking dumb?

The hearings are not over yet dummy, wait to see if any criminal charges are recommended once the hearings are complete.

Trump only has to nominate for the presidency and the circus ends, do they have a plan B.

As it stands they have conclusive proof that Trump led a deadly, criminal conspiracy.

The only thing to be determined now is if the DOJ will prosecute or not.

And there is the problem with Trump supporters, everything bad that he has done is seen as BS, Trump supporters cant see the truth, even when faced with overwhelming evidence.
Stealing from children's charities, lets just ignore that,
trump university, lets ignore that sham also, Trump supporters, the most deluded people on the planet.

Indeed.

He admitted to stealing that money from the kids charities, and his braindead supporters don't care.

He also admitted that the "university" was a scam, and yet again they don't care.

We have proof now, not merely evidence but proof, that he was the one who organised the criminal plan to overthrow the government and that he wanted the terrorists armed, and still his moronic supporters don't care.

I often wonder if that's because they're criminals themselves.

Its just so hilarious watching Trump troll so many people and they have no control, he just winds them up.

Putins biggest asset is Biden and if he goes then Putin loses a lot of power. It is important that Putin has someone in America tearing them apart from the inside so he can take the lead.

Putin's biggest asset was the alleged child rapist he had elected as President - Donald J. Trump.

If Trump was in the White House now, Ukraine would be scorched earth - Trump would have provided military aid to Russia and pulled all military aid from Ukraine (which he threatened to do in the past).

We'll just have to see if Putin can stop Trump from going to prison.
