The greatest cat who has ever catteed.
He is getting old, tired. When he dies it will shatter my heart into endless human tears. My feline friend has been by my side through hard human thin thick feline friend. Do not die my friend. I need you. I love you. |

When my cat dies I am going to call down sorrow and pain before all the stars.
I am going to demand the universe stop time. I am going to demand my love fill his dead body up with sorrow and love. When my cat dies. |

We will be here for you Jake, those of us that loved our dog/and or cat, or any critter. Oddly … reading your posting now… it was earlier today I was outside doing some chores (because yes the sun was shining!) and I walked in… and suddenly felt a bit alone… as I thought of my little fur buddies no longer in the house. People say get another one but I can’t … I’m just not ready. When the dog passed, the cat kept looking for him… they were arch enemies but always kept an eye on each other. I said to my daughter…. how can we tell the cat… she’s crying for the dog… she sniffs where he used to sleep, then sits there looking around… then she lets out some distressing meows that feel like “where are you!” I hate the fact they don’t live longer than what they do. The dog I had looks like Toto … (Albanese’s dog) I feel such urge to get another dog but I need to hold back… thinking of down sizing and then once in a new abode… My friend brings Ollie the caboodle over and he’s so happy in my place… I love how he runs around excitedly and jumps up to greet me. He was my dog’s bestest friend. I dog sit him from time to time. Ollie is getting old and having so many health issues. My friend is dreading the day when…. Hmmmmm….I don’t want to say it…. I talk to my dearly departed fur babies…. I have photos up and I continually send love to them. I know one day they will be there to greet me. |

losing your cat is very hard- I lost mine about 5 years ago, the worst pain I have been through, the very worst! you dont know just how old your cat is, that makes it very hard to get ready for that time- he could live a long time you know- the average age is about 14-16- but some have lived a lot longer-

We - the ex and I - don't have pets any more for that reason. I hate seeing them go, and I know that animals also hate to see their companion human go. The ex's Old Dog and I were great mates - often being out at 3AM in Winter down south near the snow to look at the stars and such.... clear as....
I would wake at 3AM or so and go out for a pee - he would do the same and we could spend twenty minutes just looking at the majesty of the night sky...... and sometimes seeing some of the very best conjunctions of planets etc... the Old Dog would just look up and I knew he loved it... same with the ex's daughter's dogs when we did our walks along the ocean front here.... the older one would just stand and take it all in.... I miss them. I'm happy to feed the native birds in Winter and give them a fair break for the Spring breeding season... soon the Maggies will be carrying on and flying patterns at the full moon to attract a mate....... but I cannot take another familiar dying......... :-/ We Lefty style 'fascists' are like that - far more in tune with life than they can ever be... lost souls..... commonly known as R souls.... FYI - the man/woman is an idiot. |

I agree. The passing of pets can be such a sad thing for us. I guess when
you consider how long they spend with us in our homes and our lives the grief is understandable. We had two lovely cats, a tubby tabby called Sheba, and a pretend panther called Maxine. Such different personalities, but both so lovable... and loving. As a grown man, I couldn't stop crying when each of them had to be euthanised because of old age—around a year apart. They say "Dogs have masters. Cats have staff" LOL. —Take care Jake. |

When Henry Gonzolaz dies, and I am not sure it is not that far off.
I am going to stop all the clocks, the tick tock of my heart. And I am going to die with him, the cat, the friend who helped me through so much of this human poo. I am going to let my heart die with him. But then we all have to live on. |
