Apart from showing up just how uneducated some young Americans are,
it's an indicator that today's youth needs to have—or does have—all its
knowledge fed to it via electronic devices providing a mentally painless
way of communicating with the rest of the real world.  In every street in
every city, every single day, all we see are kids with their noses buried in
their smart [sic] phones or tablets.

I also blame the current crop of school teachers; far too many of them as
products of the millennials' generation, and they too with little worldly
knowledge or wisdom built up over years of maturation.  We now have
kids teaching kids fer ferk's sake!

I guess the only saving grace with that video is that Justin Awad took the
opportunity of editing out the kids who could answer his questions with
no problems.

And was it just me, or was it a case that there were more African-Americans
who couldn't answer the questions—ignoring the blonde's answers of course LOL.

In the YT, i liked how the guy asking the question, never tried to contradict an obviously, mistaken answer.

"Yes!" was the response from the question asker.

NASA disagrees. The Moon is Earth's only natural satellite.  Earth is a satellite
because it moves around the sun. The moon is also a satellite because it moves
around Earth. The Earth and the moon are called "natural" satellites.

All orbiting objects orbit around their centre of gravity. In the case of the Earth-moon system, the barycentre is located within the Earth, about 2/3 of the Earth's radius from the centre of the Earth.

By convention, the Moon is a satellite of the Earth. It's also the fifth largest moon in the Solar System.

Pluto and Charon are regarded as a binary system. The only binary system in the Solar System, because their barycentre is not located within Pluto. Interestingly enough, the minor moons of Pluto/ Charon are shaped like rugby balls.

The interview was conducted at an amusement park. These people are obviously eager to get back to their entertainment and were giving hurried answers. Maybe there should be some kind of balance with the interviewer showing them interviewees who got the answers all correct.

Of course it's quite possible—even likely?—that none of the interviewees
could answer any of the questions.

Whatever, it's a pretty damning indictment of the standards of high school
education in the United States.

It is likely that the interviewer spent hours interviewing at least 20 people. And these few could not answer some of the questions. The video was mixed up in order for the sake of muddling the audience into thinking it is one long sequence of dumb answers. Had the video been unedited, I bet these people would have gotten some of the questions right.
