Had a report back from a couple of people.

Don't know the health benefits but, apparently, the prescribed stuff knocks your socks off!

Even if it does not work, they will keep taking large sums of money off you while you try every different flavour. It's on the borderline between genuine medicine and snake oil.

It only works if something is wrong with you.
Just look at Marla.

Ah, this helped explain it to me a bit more

...........  CBD is a controlled registered medicine in Australia so it cannot be legally sold directly without a prescription. Hemp seed products that contain less than 0.01% CBD are allowed to be sold directly without a prescription but 0.01% is an insignificant, far from therapeutic amount.        .........

So, aahhhh, there has been an update here.

One of my brothers has long recommended CBD medicine. He sent some to my mother (who is 96).
She put some on her arms and it cleared up all the lumps and scale on her arms in less than 2 weeks !

My wife has arthritis and I have a few more aches than 5 years ago.
You can buy seeds online that are specifically bred for lots of CBD and 0 THC.
I don't want to get stoned, I want to not get stoned.
I'm a good gardener, it is springtime.

It's a disgrace that something so beneficial can be grown in someones backyard without Big Pharma getting any money for it!  Outrageous!

At least you are consistent FD, always firmly on the Right side regardless of the subject, of which you apparently know nothing about.

Ah, I might be onto a good path here.

............ While further studies are to be conducted, many studies comparing CBD with other typical pain medications tend to CBD superior. For example, Capano et al. (2019) found over half of the chronic pain patients (53%) in the study reduced or eliminated their opioid use within eight weeks after adding CBD-rich hemp extract to their regimens. Therefore, it is suggested that CBD could significantly reduce opioid use and improve chronic pain and sleep quality among patients who are currently using opioids for pain management.
When comparing side effects, CBD appears to have fewer or less severe side effects than mainstream pain medications.
The medications used to treat arthritis include disease-modifying anti-rheumatic drugs (DMARDs), biologic response modifiers, corticosteroids and more. By far, though, most arthritis suffers typically rely on painkillers—either acetaminophen/paracetamol, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) or prescribed opioids.
While effective (for the short term anyway), NSAIDS, corticosteroids and opioids only mask pain and their side effects carry substantial health risks and side effects, especially for the older populations.
CBD is presenting as a safe and potentially effective medical alternative to more risky medications commonly prescribed for arthritis pain. Cannabidiol use has little to no health risk or adverse side effects like those presented by NSAIDs and opioid medications. Though, research into CBD use and efficacy have only begun and more longitudinal studies need to be conducted in order to assess the side effects and efficacy of CBD use.        ............

NSAIDS can rot your guts!

Fish oil capsules are the safest.

I don't know how you got any of that from what I said.

............  Medicinal cannabis transforms anorexic Lindsay to normal health
Lindsay Carter 23 has a brain tumour. It is believed he has a type of Astrocytoma based on MRI reports but as mentioned no biopsy has been done due to risks. The location of his tumour makes biopsy and surgery very risky as it's in the area of the brain that controls language and learning etc. Pictured also with his mum Lanai. Pics Adam Head
A 23-year-old Brisbane man with a brain tumour who was once “so skinny” he could barely get out of bed is now a normal, healthy weight, thanks to using medicinal cannabis.           ................

So what I think you're saying is that 'So as long as you smoke pot with someone from the Health Industry' - its ok?
What does it mean if you smoke some pot with a pair of cops?

Gee. This forum is deep. Don't you think Marla? :-?

I just had a good experience reported from someone

Many years ago (in fact decades) a very dear friend had a brain tumour… he had an operation but the whole tumour was unable to be removed.
He used to have a lot of fits… and unable to drive etc
Prescribed medication he was taking was a lot of it… and was eventually causing other problems to his health internally.
Now…. before hemp was made medicinal … a professor told him to save himself from fitting… and to eventually ditch all those tablets he was taking…. to grow his own M…. which he did and smoked it…
As a result…. his fitting stopped and he was able to function normally and eventually drive a car without any further problem.

Therefore… decades ago I knew of the medicinal health benefits of M.
It’s taking a long time for the medicinal world to catch up… and still not up with it all.

I ordered CBD oil from sisters in the valley in Calif.
Expensive but amazing.
Now they are not allowed to post it out anymore.
But CBD oil can help with insomnia. But that’s just one of the benefits I know of.
I watched a documentary on Stan about these 2 guys that helped people with cancer sores. With before and after pictures.

So is low dose LSD.

I kid not, in clinical trials it is producing remarkable results with PTSD and chronic depression.
